Scheduling on line was fast and easy. I had a 12:45 appt. This was my first time there. I thought it was unusual that with only two people ahead of me checking in I was in line in the hallway. The layout of the front desk is just to close to the hallway door. Check in was easy and the receptionist was personable and helpful. After about 10 mins  I was called and escorted to an exam room. The young lady technician did my vitals and she too was personable, caring and professional. So far it was a great experience. At about 1:35 I opened the door to see if I had been forgotten as it was more than 45 minutes waiting in that room. I was told the doctor was still with another patient. When the doctor came in he listened attentively. I explained I was experiencing a severe cough and congestion for about a week. And I checked negative for Covid three times. He listened to my chest and lungs and thoroughly explained I had a lower respiratory infection. He went into details and shared he would be prescribing antibiotics and that I should take some mucinex for cough also. He had the prescription called in immediately and I’ve been taking it and mucinex also. It’s helped tremendously, his diagnosis was right on. Overall it was a very satisfying first time experience except for waiting so long in that small exam room. Probably couldn’t be helped though if he was the only doctor there and his patient was needing of his time.

When I checked in there was no one in the waiting room.  I has a 1:45 appointment and was finally seen at 2:20.  The waiting room has 6 patients waiting at that time   No one in or out for over 30 minutes.   If it was lunch time appointments should not have been scheduled Once I was taken back to an exam room everything moved quickly and I was happy with the care.  I did not however get my temperature taken.  Was surprised about that.

I was treated at Carbon Health for a UTI.  The professional staff is amazing!  Both Jackie and Sherry went above and beyond to help me.  The one flaw is getting a callback from the staff.  I had an allergic reaction and blood pressure issues and no one returned the two calls I made….communications after the visit should improve.

I came to the urgent care with an eye infection. I was seen by a doctor for less than 4 minutes, given a prescription and sent on my way. No attempt was made to cleanse the discharge on my wounded eye at all. So where is the “care” in Urgent Care?
