What patients are saying...

I came home from an out of town trip sick. After 5 days of coughing and fatigue, I made an appointment at the Yale Access Medical Center. My wait time was a little longer than it should have been with as few people that were there. I got in 30 minutes after my appointment time. The doctor was thorough and listened to my chest, did a breathing treatment and listened again as well as ordered an xray. Was diagnosed with bronchitis and mild pneumonia in the lower left lobe of my lung. They sent my prescriptions in to the Walmart next door. My husband was in and out of Walmart with my meds within 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this urgent care as they had friendly, attentive staff and very clean facility. 10 out of 10 recommend

Scheduled first appointment of the day, did all of my checkin online, first patient in the waiting room, took 20 minutes to be called back and had to wait for the dr for another 10. This isn’t excessive for a walk-in at urgent care, but seemed like it was for the 1st patient of the day knowing I had done all steps online! What was I waiting on?

I was disappointed that I had to wait as long as I did with an appointment. Additionally, I was prescribed two prescriptions that my Pulmonologist did not want me to fill based on my Lupus and efficacy of medicine.

The nurse practitioner I saw was extremely rude. She told me I had an attitude when I corrected her and ended the appointment saying “if you don’t want help then don’t come” I will NEVER be going back there, worst care I’ve ever received.

The staff was helpful and I was in and out in about a hour and half. They worked past their closing time to see all of the patients. Intake nurse was very friendly and doctor was exceptional.
