First time here this week Advocate Sherman Outpatient Center 2000 McDonald Rd. S. Elgin,IL. Here is my experience review. Door receptionist and patient office registration will give them 5 stars. after 6 PM nurse and doctor worst ever I have experience this kind of clinic. .My very first visit here this week. The wait is terrible when you get in the patient room. Nurse not very friendly, regardless you talk to her about facility very nice and clean. A little rude to patient when asking questions. She took all my health condition history and medication I take and took my temperature. Then I have another long minutes wait before the doctor came in and they're not even busy. Here is the funny part she asked me same question what the nurse asked me where she put everything in their system.. The doctor should read the questions the nurse ask you before they go in see their patient and ask same question?. I would say 70% of my visit are all questions? The wait is terrible at this place. After the doctor left I have a long wait if I did not say anything I will probably be there another for a simple issue. I understand there are hospital procedures when seeing or admitting a patient, can the stuff be at least a little friendlier or at least be ready when you see a patient read the questions the nurse already took. Advocate Sherman Outpatient Center have a very good reputations from what I heard it's ashamed that this facility did not meet the other clinics reputation. Would not recommend to go here. Try other Advocate Sherman Outpatient clinic.

We have been to the South Elgin Advocate Sherman urgent care center for both outpatient testing & urgent care. We have had GREAT care every time we have been there with our kids of all ages for various things & ourselves as well. Hands down, we MUCH prefer the Sherman urgent care to Sherman Hospital ER or even Delnor ER. We have a special needs kiddo & Sherman UC was GREAT with her. We have scheduled online every time we have gone there, & every time they have always called us back within 10-15 minutes of our appointment time, if not BEFORE our appointment time. I have had prenatal ultrasounds there, & other ultrasounds were performed on some of our kiddos there (newborn to teen). The techs have always been great & results were sent to our doctors quickly. When we have a choice to go to an ER or Sherman Urgent Care, we go to Sherman UC without any hesitation. We love that it is NOT loaded with sick people coughing all over, is actually CLEAN (well, as clean as a medical facility will be due to the nature of the business), & everybody is FRIENDLY. A++
