I should have know this was going to be a bad experience when, while filling out my paperwork, I heard the receptionist tell a customer on the phone "I really don't give a s**t, sir" and hang up! It had clearly been a contentious conversation, but to actually hear her say that to a customer was startling. Then, when I took my paperwork up, she was immediately hostile with me and asked why I had put down sinus infection when my appointment request said ear infection (there were limited options on the initial form). She told me I should have made a telehealth appointment and to leave immediately or she would call the police! This was such a bizarre reaction I didn't even process it in my mind, I just asked her about transferring my current appointment over. She quickly snapped that they were different, that I'd have to make a new appointment, and again said she was going to call the police!! I'd been totally polite and only spoken three sentences to her at this point, so being threatened with the police for merely walking into a medical provider while having medical symptoms was insane!! (I hadn't had any respiratory symptoms or fever and I was confident it was merely sinuses, which is why I still came, though I was masked and distanced). At this point, I was flabbergasted, so I just left. The next telehealth appointment available online was three days later, so I decided to just make an appointment with a real doctor instead. I certainly wasn't going back to AFC Greenwood! This woman's outrageous response, the hateful attitude she displayed to every customer (phone customer, two other in-office patients, and me), literally cursing at patients, badmouthing patients to other staff afterwards, and being unhelpful to the point of open hostility convinced me to take her advice and leave! She clearly despises every person who walks through the door, and if that's the welcoming face of your company, I have no interest in meeting anyone else that works there! I've been to the Anderson location a few times as well and had at least one difficult experience trying to make an appointment. This company seems to make their money from low-income patients with Medicare/Medicaid, so their customer service is garbage. I will NEVER be using this company again, and certainly not this location!!!

Charged over $700.00 for routine blood work plus $179.00 office visit. Insurance refuses to pay due to code submitted isn’t covered. Called AFC and they are zero help. Self Regional only charges $200.00 for complete blood work!! Go to Doctor’s Care or your regular doctor.
