I visited AFC Urgent Care on Webster Ave. and 168th St in the Bronx due to severe ear pain, and I was beyond disappointed. The facility was absolutely filthy, and they didn’t even bother to change the examination bed cover before calling me in. The PA who examined me seemed completely unprepared and unknowledgeable. When I asked what was wrong with my ear, her response was, “I don’t know.” That kind of unprofessionalism is unacceptable from a medical practitioner. This place is unsanitary, the staff lacks competence, and they clearly don’t prioritize patient care. Save yourself the frustration—avoid this urgent care at all costs! If I could give zero stars, I would.

I want to thank the nurses who supported me. Due to my family history and experiences I had overseas with hospitals I have a fear and deep aversion to needles. Thank you not only for your patience and understanding but caring nature. The nurse was extremely supportive and gentle I didn’t even feel the needle. Also thanks for giving me the space to cry 😭 sometimes I need to cry and readjust myself in order to handle something bravely.

Had a headache for about 9 days. Went to get checked at this site. I scheduled an appointment for 5:15pm. I did not get seen till 7:22pm. Everyone who got there after me had already been seen and I was the last one. Nurse was trying to take my vitals and the blood pressure machine was not working. Instead of getting a new machine she said “its ok we don't need your blood pressure”. When the nurse finally came in she did not evaluate me. All she said was she was going to send ibuprofen to the pharmacy and for me to go to the hospital because I had a “brain tumor”. It is completely unprofessional to assume someone has something, especially without being evaluated or tested correctly. Eventually I ended up in the hospital and they diagnosed me with a MIGRAINE after the proper evaluation. I will NEVER be coming back to this provider. The service here is DISGUSTING.

Big difference from when you first opened after this last visit I or any member of my family will never never return or or recommend anyone to your urgent care facility, NEVER! your service is extremely poor 2 1/2 hour wait and even worse not to be examined by by Dr. instead I was examined by a nurse practitioner I will look for an urgent care that has a DOCTOR OR DOCTORS on site.
