What patients are saying...

Solv app said I was next on the list. Four people were called ahead of me. I went to front desk to complain. Three of the four had arrived after me. Spent time scheduling the appointment online only for front office staff to tell me patients are seen in the order they came. I was ten minutes early for my “appointment.” I also completed paperwork online, but staff still had me complete paperwork online that was very similar. In addition the nurse practitioner asked medical questions that I know I answered on the paperwork. This is not my regular Urgent Care, and I can assure you, it never will be. Nor would I recommend to others. There are three other nearby Urgent Cares within a five mile radius, so I’d urge HYDEPARK to work harder on customer wait times and “frictionless” user experience to stay competitive.

Easy and pleasant! Had the COVID test done and took 2 days to get back. Great staff!

Was very disappointed to see that individuals who entered without a mask or those who were not wearing the mask properly were not corrected at all and allowed to wait inside and remain a hazard to everyone else. Also disappointed that the option to wait in your car and be called when it was your turn was not available even though several individuals asked if this was an option. This could have reduced the capacity of the waiting room significantly. Other than the waiting experience, the staff was very kind and helpful!

A woman came in and did not know how to use her smart phone. The Check in girl said there was no way to check her in manually. I watched this poor woman struggle and, while the receptionist gave instructions, she didn’t take the extra steps to Really help her. I was a patient and observed all of this. I sat down with the patient and filled out the entire online form for her. If I hadn’t I don’t think she would have been seen. I asked the front desk worker if she could Manually check the patient in, she replied there was absolutely no way to do it. I stepped in to help the patient, keep in mind , my helping the woman was a complete violation of HIPPA, and that wasn’t addressed by the worker. As I‘ve thought about it, I realize all the worker had to do was pull up the form on her computer and type in the information for her. (Which is what I did with the patient’s phone.) So she could be with her husband in a nursing home, The sweet patient just needed a Covid test. I spent 9 years training Epic at a hospital. I also trained Front desk customer service. The program you have set up is not user friendly. A large population of Americans do not have computer skills and they have to be helped. The worker just needs sufficient training on how to handle situations like this one. In the workers defense, to make matters worse, the Solo server had a glitch and wasn’t readily coming up. It did after a minute or so. Also, The business didn’t have wifi? Kinda defeats and complicates the employees ability to do her job and I had to use my data to check in. The tech, Brianna, did a excellent job administering the test.

I made an appointment online and took a considerable amount of time completing the lengthy paperwork process. I arrived 10 minutes early as instructed, but found that walk-ins are inserted whenever they arrive without regard for appointments already made so I waited over an hour to be called in. Not a great system.
