I have never had a problem coming in to AFC and being treated with nothing but the best of care. Highly recommend this location.

Had a uti scheduling appointment was easy Staff very friendly and professional was in. & out in about 30 minutes prescribed antibiotics & already feeling better the day after!

Doctor was literally 4 min in the room with me. I told her I a thought sinus infection. She checked my ears, walked out, can't back with Rx for antibiotics. Not very thorough, for a physician???

I was extremely displeased with the check-in process. If I am supposed to use the clinic's tablet, it should be sanitized between patients, which it was not. Also, it was not at all comforting to have a staff member cough into her hand while taking my vitals. Ultimately, this visit was a waste of time for me. I was diagnosed with bronchitis. The tight chest, unproductive cough and fever told me as much. I had been treating myself at home with 12 hour Mucinex and 12 hour Naproxen for my symptoms for four days with no improvement prior to seeking treatment. I have not been sick in years, but the last time I had these symptoms, I was prescribed an antibiotic. I do not have a viral infection such as the flu or COVID for which an antibiotic would not be prescribed. Thank God I don't have pneumonia. I was given a breathing treatment which was not helpful, yet I was sent home with a prescription for an Albuterol inhaler along with over-the-counter nasal spray and oral allergy medicine. I have continued to worsen over the past 24-hours, but will seek treatment elsewhere. The treatment I received was like putting a dirty bandaid on a gaping wound.

I walked in without an appointment. The young lady at the front desk helped me fill in the check in computer. The nurse who called me in was attentive and kind. The nurse practitioner was very efficient and knew what I needed medication wise. I was in and out and on my way to my pharmacist. I had a very good experience. Thank you.

I just really want to complement this place! The care and treatment and taking an interest in your medical problems are just excellent! The staff are just great! It just couldn't be better for all of your health problems! Excellent scheduling! Very short waiting time ! Yes I highly recommend American Family Care in Calera!
