The doctor listened to me and took the time to do the proper test to diagnose me. It was late when I came in and close to closing but she took her time and treated me.

Forehead thermometer was wrong. Asked nurse to recheck. Temp was 3 degrees higher with oral thermometer.  The nurse did not clean the room after the previous patient left. I had to insist she clean it and all she did was clean the chair the patient sat in. I had to ask the Dr to check my ears. She never did check my heart and lungs with a stethoscope. I did not even get a definitive diagnosis. Waste of time and money.

Waited in line to see receptionist and she pointed me to iPad by the receptionist window. If there was a sign clearly stating I did not need to speak with receptionist first I could have skipped waiting in line. Wait time was longer than expected with amount of people waiting. Once I was called back I interacted with 3 people. Triage lady was short spoken and inattentive. Doctor was not thorough in assessment. Seemed like she wanted me to diagnose myself. Everything she said as “findings”sounded like a question for me to confirm with her. Ex- There is no wheezing in your lungs? How am I supposed to know that? She’s the one with the instruments and knowledge. Doctor didn’t even feel my lymph nodes. This might not be mandatory but I’ve never been to the doctor without them checking my lymph nodes. The swab lady was the only one who was nice. I was triaged, put in a room, swabbed, doctor came in, tests came back negative and doctor told me she was calling in steroids and giving me a steroid shot, triage lady came back to tell me to leave and saw I didn’t have any papers, triage lady came back with papers and I left without a shot. Total time from walking in to walking out was 2 hours and 15 mins. Office did not appear busy. This is my first time having a bad experience at the calera AFC. This experience did not meet any of my expectations. This location needs massive help with staffing and training. I will not be back to afc calera until I see a doctor change.

Had an illness (sinus/throat/cough) chasing me for 4 to 5 days and decided to go to AFC in Calera around 11:00 this morning. Staff were very friendly and office was clean. The wait time was okay and the nurse practitioner was professional and thorough. I’ve been to this location a number of times over the years and always had a good experience. I have recommended this provider several times.

I fell and needed exrays and they got me right on back very nice man explain why my leg looked thst way and phone in me some meds

No long wait went in got check out they did what they had to do sent me some medicine to my pharmacy

The provider was not thorough at all in her assessment. I could’ve stayed home for the amount of attention and effort that was put into my care. I came in presenting with fever, body aches, chills, and the inability to take a deep breath. The provider did a Covid and Flu test, when those tests came back negative she listened to my lungs and sent me home. There was ZERO investigation into the source of my symptoms. There was no xray done or blood panel. Wish I could give zero stars

Doctors and nurses were loudly talking about me in the hall until I spoke up and let them know I could hear them. Very unprofessional. The lady at the front desk was awesome kept a smile on and made me feel better overall than the actual Doctor.

I came in to get blood pressure and blood sugar medication I only got pressure medication no blood sugar medication

Had lower back pain in right side it’s doing All right for now Thanks Happy Holidays
