I did not schedule an appointment, I walked in. I’ve had bad experiences with AFC, Auburn, Opelika, and Montgomery not any better. I’ll be looking into going to some where different. I wouldn’t recommend AFC to family and friends.

Came in with extreme neck pain. It hurt to move and to touch. I was taken care of with speed and efficiency. The front desk clerks were very welcoming. The NPs and Doctors knew exactly what was going on with me and they helped me a great deal. I would recommend this provider and I will be going back if I have a health problem.

I visited AFC seeking ear flushing or drainage services, as my ears were plugged and ringing. When I called ahead, I specifically inquired if these services were available, and I was informed that they were. However, when I saw the doctor and explained that I was there for an ear flush or drainage, I was not provided with the requested treatment. I feel that the $175 I paid was not well spent, and I was disappointed by the medical assistant’s unprofessional response. She sarcastically mentioned that I had paid for a referral and laughed, which I found to be rude and inappropriate.

The physician and tech (who has cared for me there during past visits) both were  caring, friendly, kind, pleasant with excellent bedside manners.  They made me feel like a patient not just a number.  Their seemingly genuine care and concern about the improvement of my condition was heartfelt.  With staff like them, it is easy to refer others and utilize  AFC services!  Thanks for having a physician on staff rather than a PA or NP.   The unfriendly, unkind, unpleasant and seemingly personally motivated experience I’ve had in the past couple, prior visits, at this same location when “Rawls” has been on duty has almost caused me to discontinue receiving service from AFC.   With my extensive medical history, I prefer being attended by a MD when I have to visit an urgent care clinic as an alternative to my PC doctor.

I would expect at least two providers to be scheduled considering this is respiratory season, not including all the other services provided within this facility. The wait time definitely can be improved. I waited two hours up front and another hour in the back. I requested the iPad to check in not knowing you still have to complete the paperwork on your phone as I prefer larger screens for matters as these. I think wait times should definitely be at the forefront of quality improvement. Customer service training can applied to most disciplines.
