I had been suffering with pain in my neck, back and shoulders for over a week that was getting worse. I decided to go to AFC to have it checked. Check in was a breeze, the staff was very friendly and informative. The pain was alleviated. My wait time was longer than expected but shorter than an ER Visit. I highly recommend AFC.

Wait time has been extremely long for the last two visits. Arrived and checked in around between  11:15 did not leave until after 2:00 PM. Waited over an hour for the doctor to come in. Definitely room for improvement.

I couldn’t walk in to see my primary care physician and had a matter I considered to be urgent. It was cool to drive a couple of minutes to American Family Care and receive the care I wanted. Clean, courteous, and informative is how I would describe the service I received. Signing in via phone is a bit agitating to an old dude like me, but it wasn’t too bad. The wait was a little longer than I expected. As before, I would use this facility again.

I went to get a deep cut checked out.  I waited for almost an hour before being called back. When the doctor/ nurse came in, he had a rude and dismissive attitude. I understand that too much time passed for me to receive stitches for the cut, be I asked for him to inspect it to make sure there was not a foreign object inside, which he did not do. All he did was have someone come out a gauze pad on it and write a prescription. He did not even provide me with tips to help heal or anything to take care of the wound.

I had reserved my spot online for 2 Pm. It told me to be there at 1:45 to check in. I got there at 1:36 and sat in the waiting room for over an hour. The entire process took over two hours. Very dissatisfied with how long it took to be seen.

I would rather have seen a doctor than the NP.  I’m not opposed to seeing an NP.   Just didn’t care for this one.  I don’t feel she really paid attention to me. I felt rushed.  Had to ask for a steroid and then just got a shot.  Not a pack.   She did give me an antibiotic.   I’ll see my ENT Monday.
