All we could her was the staff moaning about how bad the company is run! Totally unprofessional and really put a bad taste in my mouth.

I was concerned my son might have the flu or stret throat. I made an appointment online super easy and was able to take him after I got off work. The wait time was no more than 10 mins. Altogether I was in and out in 25mins or so. Also, the doctor was such a sweetheart, down to earth and empathetic. Thank you SO much! The only person that I think was tired is the front desk staff, I don't blame her, can't be upbeat all day!

I experienced strained muscles in my neck and back on both sides. My neck was stiff, and it made it hard to sit up and walk.

I wasn’t feeling good sore throat and some sinus stuff going on . I made my appt on line was in and out within 30min and my meds were sent in to the pharmacy. The staff was really nice, friendly and attentive. I’d definitely recommend AFC.

I have been to AFC twice in a week. Certainly not the norm for me and my first time going to this facility.  The staff were courteous, professional and prompt.  The wait time was minimal, less than expected and much better than other places that I have been to. Paperwork was processed on my own device and the waitlist was available through the web or app as well. The highlight is the RN that I saw on both visits. She was polite, professional and knowledgeable. She got right to the point and backed up her analysis with a basis for moving forward. I’ll definitely be back.

I had to go into this facility to do a physical for future employment. I was a little uneasy about getting the flu shot. Doctor came in, talk with me, and put my mind at ease. Got the shot, the nurse , and everyone there was so pleasant, helpful and very caring. Thank you guys you're the best.

I went to AFC Family Care with my daughter for a Nursemaid elbow, which is basically a partially dislocated elbow. Upon waiting in the waiting room I specifically asked the front desk to check with the doctor before entering for the evaluation if they will be able to adjust her arm back to normal. They said they would probably not be able to but it would be good to see the doctor anyway as we were next in line. I hesitantly agreed as I was desperate to fix my daughter’s arm. Once inside the back I met with Dr. Wasserman. He quicky confirmed that it was in fact a partially dislocated elbow. He said that an x ray should be performed and their x ray person closed for the day and said he can put a sling on her arm and come back the next morning. He also said even more importantly that he was not skilled or willing to adjust her arm. I was quite shocked as I waited an hour to see him while my daughter was in pain and to adjust her arm is a standard practice for doctors. I left there with no solution and went to the Norwalk Hospital. There I was admitted instantly and saw an physician’s assistant. I told her what happened at AFC Family care and she could not believe that Dr. Wasserman was not willing to adjust her arm and that he insisted on an x ray. The Norwalk Hospital quickly adjusted her arm and and I was on my way home. I would not recommend AFC Family Care due to this bad experience.

It was a little unsettling that the doctor did not where the first aid supplies are.... it will be very helpful if a nurse or an assistant who is familiar with the center can help the doctor to get supplies ready for him to take care of patients. Otherwise, the service I received today was great…

They were quick and responsive the second day .  First day I waited an hour and left

I needed a pre-op exam and was unable to schedule with my primary care doctor because of the holiday schedule.  Yale New Haven allowed me to get my exam done through a walk-in care center.  They facilitated getting a script for the exam to AFC Norwalk.  I was able to give my information to AFC over the phone and choose a time for my visit.  The receptionist helped me with the sign-in and I was escorted to an exam room.  My male nurse was kind and sensitive to my situation and made the complete process go smoothly.  I was very satisfied with the care I received.  I would not hesitate to recommend this provider!
