Had a sinus infection for several days before I decided to go in. Checkin was fine. Staff and care were both excellent.

My mother needed a chest x-ray for her retirement community. They were so nice and professional, from the office staff to the medical personnel. The doctor even discovered something no one else has seen. I’ve already recommended the Hoover branch to my family and friends.

Spent a whole week coughing after visiting an urgent care in Louisiana. As soon as I got home to Hoover, I pre-registered to visit AFC the next morning. Almost no wait time, quick check in, doctor was excellent, explained everything, even showed me my x-ray (a first for me!), then to the pharmacy. EXCELLENT experience. Feeling much better the next day. Highly recommend AFC!

I visited this clinic for the first time recently, and while I appreciated that they accepted walk-ins, the experience with the front desk staff left a lot to be desired. When I arrived, the check-in system was down, so I couldn't use the QR code to check in. The two receptionists seemed indifferent and told me they didn’t want to manually enter patient information into the system because it 'wasn’t part of their job' and would require a raise. On the positive side, the medical staff, including the doctor and the person who performed my strep test, were professional and courteous. It’s clear that the clinic has skilled and attentive medical professionals, but the front desk staff could benefit from additional training in customer service and handling unexpected situations. I hope the clinic addresses this to improve the overall patient experience.

Had a problem with my foot being infected.  At the first office I waited 2 hours to be seen. I was sent to another AFC but given the wrong address. Was sent to other location to have a Dr drain the infection. Couldn’t do anything because there was a piece of metal in my foot. Was referred to surgery, Dr said they would call me.  It’s been 3 days and no contact.

I had a drug screening for a job. They were very quick to get me through and finished. I appreciate them for that.

Definitely needs some updating, tables had a rip in the cloth, it was very difficult to sign in on my phone, kept getting stuck, had to wait 30+ minutes after I got my steroid shot and still had to open the door and ask if I could leave

The staff was amazing and so friendly, but it took me about two hours in total to see someone and get out the door even though they did not appear to be busy when I came in before 9:00 am. I had issues checking in with the SolvHealth platform they use and when I got to the pharmacy, my cough syrup was in but my antibiotic never came through so I had to call back and waited 15 minutes before finally speaking to someone - who hung up on me (maybe accidentally?). Waiting to see if they call back?
