The overall experience was good. The issue is the billing practice. Along with the co-pay for services was an additional $50 fee for some type of hospital fee. The Urgent Care didn't appear to be inside a hospital. It was just a small separate facility. This is a practice I have never seen before. Of course that supposed fee was apparently documented on an insert received. I will not be back.

FYI: DO NOT use “Anderson Express Care” unless you want billed two copays!!! They now bill your insurance as “being see at their facility” and then ALSO the physician bills for an appointment. I ended up having two copays each for me and my son, making our bill double! I’ve used them several times in the past and never had this issue so to me it is new. Although they told me in their system it shows I’ve never been seen before. Just a little service announcement in case anyone else was unaware! I will not be using them any further!

I won't go into details about my experience, as I was fully satisfied with the quick service and very friendly technician and nurse. However, I would like to mention that if you are going in for a private matter, look elsewhere, because I definitely heard my private medical information discussed loudly outside of the exam room that I was in with other staff members and also in front of other patients. HIPPA apparently doesn't apply here.

They took take of my illness and listened when I explained everything and told them what I thought it was. A simple uti. We put my details down and forgot about it. Billing time came but we had already moved to Texas and it took a while before We realized and it had gone to debt collections. We paid it off the very first time they called and now they are harassing us to pay again.

I was billed $800 (between Anderson and the Doctor) for a visit that lasted less than 5 minutes for a sinus infection. When you call Anderson no one offers you any help nor does the doctor's billing company. Save your money and go to a different Urgent Care. Very disappointed in their lack of care.

The staff that checked us in and took vitals were wonderful. The nurse practitioner that saw my son was obviously hung over and had not showered. I had to hold my breath while she listened to him. Somehow she completely missed that he had croup and only treated him for step. Ended up having to go to Children's ER. Will absolutely never use this useless place again.
