We NEVER see a Doctor every time we visit. Just the Nurse Practitioner (NOT very helpful). Always leaves the Clinic with Unanswered Questions. Their male Receptionist is very RUDE, SMARTA$$, & ARROGANT. That being said...we'll NO LONGER be returning.

We moved from another state to Alabama (which is scary when you don't know anyone or where to be seen) I made a new paitent appointment in April at a primary care Dr. and could not be seen until mid July. This was the only place that everyone from staff to the Dr. actually listened to what was going on, talked to me like a normal person, were super nice about everything and were quick about getting me in and out with the prescriptions needed. Thank y'all so much for everything you did for me both times I went!!!

I have been going to Aproxie for years and it has always been a quick in and out. Yesterday I had my first bad experience and I am saddened to say I will not be returning. While the staff is very friendly and the facility is always clean the professionalism and patient privacy has taken a turn for the worst. I held myself together inside the building, but as soon as I got into my vehicle I burst into tears. I could hear conversation between the new Dr and a staff member talking about me right outside the room. Not only was the staff member misinformed by the Dr, but I heard laughter as she assured her that I was wrong about my own condition and she was right. I have had my condition for 5 years now and have been tested correctly for everything as I know my medical history very well. This was unprofessional and a clear violation to my privacy as a patient. There are patients walking in and out of that hallway just as I did that could have heard the misinformation and easily known what they were speaking about and whom. Madison is big, but not that big. Please educate your staff better and have a look at your patients medical history before making assumptions. This was the last thing I expected when I went into Aproxie yesterday. I am never one to write reviews, but this is still on my mind and will be for days, weeks, possibly months to come. I want them to acknowledge their mistakes and warn others that their privacy may be taken for advantage when seeking medication or care from this office.

Can’t even give 2 stars for anything. This place looks like an old Shoneys restaurant, just as gross on the inside. The receptionist is horrible, drama drama and doesn’t listen. He was a total smartas and made our visit there a joke. I’m thinking from my encounter with the Dr, the receptionist learned his mannerisms from the doc. Totally do not recommend, went to American Family clinic and everyone there was very gracious. Called another local place to see if they did physicals n told them about my visit at approx-whatever and he said he used to work there n it was a bad experience working there. FYI

TLDR: The staff and care is WONDERFUL, truly the best. -Beau (check-in/out) always remembers me, and he is thoughtful, thorough, considerate, and follows through when he says he's going to do something. And KIND, so so kind. Very comforting demeanor. -Eric (check-in/out) was patient in answering all my questions. -Cheyenne (takes vitals and does intake questions) is the absolute sweetest. -Lasonya (who has the unfortunate task of giving shots, and nobody likes needles) was SO GENTLE, and she has a great sense of humor. Great energy. -Brittney (MA) isn't there anymore, but she just seemed like such an authentic, genuine person, which really put me at ease. -Brittney (Provider), gosh, so so patient, knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful. Seriously, I talk a lot, and she answered every single question without me feeling once like she was annoyed. She absolutely knows what she is doing, and that's THE BEST in a doctor. She listened and really heard me. Very intelligent, and also socially apt. All around fantastic. Also, a great combination between laid-back and professional. -Kate (Provider) talked me through a VERY complicated problem I had been having. She was the first doctor who ever listened to me and trusted *me* enough to truly help me find the specialists I need. I owe her a debt of gratitude. This place is more than an Urgent Care to me, to be honest. I know I can trust them, and they take care of me in every way I have ever needed from them and MORE. They genuinely care about helping people. If more places (and people) were like this one, the world would be a better place. They deserve all the accolades and all the business I can give them. P.S. Also the FASTEST medical care I have ever received.

Dr. Shaw and staff were friendly, knowledgeable and addressed my family's concern with a compassionate ear and sound medical advice. We all had covid testing performed and the wait time for results was fast and allowed my family to breathe easier! We appreciate the dedication and care that you have always afforded us! Absolutely well run business. The whole staff felt as though they genuinely cared. Service was FAST! A role model for other urgent care facilities.

This so far is the best Walk-In Clinic I’ve ever experienced too! 👍 The staff was very personable and professional, more than the other Urgent Care Clinics I’ve been to. I was in and out in no time!! I will use them again! Sloan

Terrible clinic , doctor was extremely rude and I didn’t even get any relief. I went to a different urgent care down the street and won’t be coming back.
