In January, 2023, I walked into Urgent Care around 6:00 pm, afraid I had some strange flu after vomiting violently and for far too long. Within 20 minutes, I knew I was likely going to have gall bladder surgery the next day. It was well staffed, all were concerned for my pain levels, my comfort, they apologized for not having any food available but I could not have dared swallow anything. They contacted my husband for me and arranged transport to Wausau for surgery. All went well.

I had food poisoning in October 2022, drove myself there, wobbled in Thursday night, 3 nights later like a drunk sitting in bar 4 or 5 hours! Staff didn't do anything & after an hour, a girl came in & told me I was being discharged & I was supposed to get up in the morning & drive (90 minutes) down to the tomah VA! Very funny, I wobbled out, got in my car, drove home slowly, drove in my driveway, didn't back in like usual & wobbled out to get my mail which had been there 3 days, turned around & fell over in the street! How long I laid there, I don't know! I went back the next night & Saturday afternoon, too, 3 days in a row & they gave me a dizziness pill Friday night & Saturday & nothing! I was in a room for 3 or 4 hours Friday night & Saturday afternoon & they didn't come in, unless I hit the button! What were they doing? Watching tv? Eating free donuts & having free coffee? Don't go here even if you cut your finger off, drink Jack Daniels, pull out your sewing needles & fishline & sew it on yourself!
