The wait fir service was far too long for an urgent care facility

I woke up yesterday morning not feeling well and my primary care physician was unable to take me. Fortunately, I was able to go to Atlantic Health Urgent Care in Cedar Knolls. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Wait time was a bit long, but that is to be expected at this time of year. I was home with a diagnosis in about an hour. Thanks for all of your help!

Busy time of year but had a shorter wait than I anticipated.  Although I self tested for COVID (ok) I am old and wanted to make sure I was just dealing with cold and congestion.  I got a script and now on the mend. I would recommend Urgent Care. Thank you

Easy Scheduling, very detailed and attentive staff.

Possibly the most pleasant healthcare experience I’ve ever had. Both the nurse and nurse practitioner were so attentive, confident, and to the point that I was able to leave quickly with the confidence that I was given a solution to my problem.

Second visit - first visit removed ear wax. Second visit for vertigo and dizziness within a few days of each other. A walk- in both visits - staff and doctors great.

Had pain in my shoulder due to inflammation. Received very good care from the doctor.

Had an appointment for 3:00. Got there at 2:45. Someone was checking in and the receptionist told me to take a seat and she’d call me up when finished. I checked in online at 2:50. Waited about 30 minutes for her to call me, 5 of those the other person was finished checking in. I assumed the receptionist was busy, but then another person walked in and checked in, 3:20 appointment. I checked in afterwards at about 3:30. Other appointment was seen before me. Someone checked in for a 4:00 appointment and was seen before me. I finally got in at about 4:45. Took another 45 minutes from triage to see the doctor. Didn’t get home until 5:45 on Saturday. Had to wait until today for my antibiotics because pharmacies all close at 6.  Seems like I was booted from my appointment for a receptionists mistake. Pretty damn irritating. Planned my day around the appointment and it didn’t even matter. 3:30 wasted because of it.

The nurse and doctor were very thorough. The doctor treated my pulled abductor muscle then and there and my leg felt much better, and it’s even better a day later. Highly recommended.
