made appt online and was texted to be there by 5:30 for my appt at 5:41. I was there on time, but apparently I was the only one on time. I actually saw the Dr. at 7:30. Dr Sykes was very apologetic and seemed genuinely concerned with my health. Extremely friendly and easy to talk with. Very pleased with Dr. Sykes

Trauma Centers are hard to manage. A person of 60 having chest pain will get into the back room much faster than a flu victim or minor injury. Nonetheless, when you are in pain, the wait can seem forever, and as we wait, we get anxious and angry. I have been here several times. Yesterday, when I arrived the place was packed. My injury was bad enough to move me to the head of the line. Other times, I had to wait. Perspective is everthing! My doctor, Sanchez, as well as the staff were wonderful. Peace and all good things, in this life and the next.

My husband fractured his thumb a few months ago and when he went down there after X-ray concluded it was a hairline fracture they gave him a hard time when he asked for pain medication. He rarely complains of pain so for him to even ask meant he was serious pain. They reluctantly gave him a prescription then. Almost 3 weeks later at Christmas he hit it again and I finally got him to go back for another x-ray this time bones broken complete in half and Dr. Jager refused to give him anything for his pain. My husband is one tough cookie so the pain is serious here if he’s complaining and you can just look at it to see that it’s bad. I know about the pain med addiction epidemic but it’s not right to deny someone who really actually is in severe pain and discomfort w a damn broken bone! That’s neglectful of the doctor cause he’s just watching out for himself and his paperwork.
