I brought my 12 year old granddaughter to the er with a severe asthma attack. It was July 5th at 6pm. From the nurse in the waiting area to admitting, they were a so excellent and patient! They worked with my child and would not release her or prescribe medication until all the tests came back and her vitals were normal. Blessings to the wonderful staff. We will NEVER FORGET THEM!!!

NO Stars from me or my husband.. They treated me as if I was a junkie. I was in the same hospital 12/2017 and again 4/2018. I was in another catatonic state. Their Psychiatrist diagnosed me with catatonia due to extreme stress and exhaustion. No illegal drugs or alcohol as they took my urine and blood for testing in December. In April 2018 they took my blood and urine and still no drug overdose, but the social worker kept asking me why i overdosed. while in catatonia I can'y speak but to do her job she kept yelling at me and basically pissed me off. She got me all riled up and assumed I was a danger to myself and others, Total bullshit. So she had me chemically and physically restrained and made my husband stay in the hall for 3 days O was in the ER Department. They then sent me to a crisis clinic for observation. Pus on a 72 hour hold and if they decide they can start the 72 hour clock or put me in a Mental hospital which after 60 days I would be re evaluated. Then the clinic sent me to MIHS as no one gave me my name or husbands name and phone # when I was handed off. He called everywhere and couldn't find me. Then in MIHS at night I had a worthless sitter a Nigerian boy. Well once I was asleep he started rubbing my back and breast and my vagina area and was so close to stocking his finger inside me. If someone didn't open the door to check on the other patient. He surely would have climbed on top of me he would of raped me. He held my head down. I said no and stopped and tried to push him away but he was too strong and I just come back to with my catatonia, My husband called the RN that was on duty when I finally ran out and escaped. She told the nursing supervisor but they said he was so nice and I must have made it up or something. So nothing was done, We also called the cops and they said they investigated but found nothing. BTW I am a CNA and and LPN been in the medical field for 15 years, US hospitals are ONLY in for the MONEY$$$$$ no longer patient care. I will NEVER enter as a patient or a healthcare professional. BANNER BAYWOOD and MIHS will not change so PLEASE stay away from those downtown Phoenix Hospitals at ALL cost!!!!!!! NEGATIVE stars from me!!! Tami Louise Miller (maiden name Tucker) PN 5153570. Power of attorney,living will etc. and A MENTAL HEALTH POWER OF ATTORNEY form signed and notarized as they don't listen to spouses. Amazing Dr's, nurses, and staff! Clean facility inside and out! Dr. Johnson is a surgeon there and he has saved my moms life! Hes so patient, nice, informative, and gives every patient the time they deserve!
