I didn’t have an appointment, and my eye doctor needed some blood work to try to find out why I was having double vision.  The staff took me in, did my blood work and I was on my way.  Very friendly staff and speedy.  Assured me that the results of my blood work will be faxed to my doctor next week since this is Friday.

I have the same bug I get about twice a year. Low-grade fever, congestion, breathing somewhat labored. In the past, steroids and rocephin have done the trick. The provider was against giving rocephin unless I had been sick for 7 days and said steroid was really really bad for you. She recommended vitamin c vitamin d and drink plenty of liquids. I did manage to talk her into giving me a steroid shot. While I respect the medical field, greatly, one has to wonder. I am on another medication that weakens my immune system so when I get sick I get sick. So now I have to wonder do I just wait four more days for me to get sicker to be treated with what has always worked in the past??

One of the better urgent care experiences.  The doc didn’t waste time, she was very clear and decisive.  Didn’t wait long, either, which isn’t always the case.  Good visit.
