Overall I would say 5/5. They were busy so I understand the wait time. It’s just when you’re sick you are ready to get back home in your comfort space.

Scheduling was very easy check-in was very easy the staff were very friendly and were always smiling and I love the care I felt like they cared!! a lot of doctors that you go to make you feel like you’re freaking out over your health, but these ladies made me feel very comfortable while they were checking me out and running test and the lady that took my blood only poked me one time and got it right The last place that I went to poked me like six times and couldn’t even draw blood. I definitely recommend this doctor to everyone.

I did not schedule an appointment, I was a walk in patient and waited a little over an hour to be seen. I was put off by having to register and send photos of my government ID over the internet as I do not find that secure by any means. The APN was nice, I found the first nurse condescending. She asked what brought me into the clinic. I said I'm on day 3 with a fever. I checked it an hour ago and it was 101.1. She took the touchless thermometer and was like well now you're at 98.8. (I was thinking Yes ma'am And I didn't have to stick that one under my tongue for 2 minutes like I did the one at home either, to get a more accurate temperature.) I told the nurse that my boss was dx with rsv on Wednesday but that I think I am getting bronchitis. She was like well we can't test adults for rsv here but we will test you for covid and flu. I said yes, well there isn't a tx for rsv just fluids and rest that's why I didn't come sooner, but now I'm getting an infection. When I was taken back to the exam room the nurse shoved the swabs up my nose and seemed to take pleasure in torturing me with them. There was absolutely no reason for her to be that rough with them. I have had swabs tons of times before and it was by far the worst experience I have had with them. When the apn arrived she was like oh you have flu we will send you some tamiflu in. I told her that I was having deep productive coughs and that my sputum was getting darker and was indicating that I was getting an infection. She agreed to send in some antibiotics for me and asked if I wanted a steroid shot. I mentioned that I have been wheezing, and you could hear it as I was talking. She did listen to my lungs 4 times on the front, but not once on my back. Nor was I given a chest x-ray to see what was going on. I felt that the visit was rushed and that I would have only left with tamiflu if I had not advocated for myself. I am highly regretting that I didn't ask for a chest x-ray. But I doubt that they would have given me one as they had already locked the side door when they called me back at 3. I get wanting to leave on time, but I definitely felt that I did not get the level of care I deserved. I felt that the flu dx was oh we don't have to do anything else when there were other underlying issues present. Overall The APN was nice, though not through. The nurse had a bad bedside manner. I could have told her that I am a Respiratory Therapist and Respiratory diseases are my specialty, but I didn't want to overstep and wanted to allow them to do their jobs. Now I wish I would have pushed that button and gotten what I needed. I hate to see what the other pts have missed out on since they weren't able to Advocate for themselves.
