Booked an appointment through ZoDoc which did NOT allow you to specify what the appointment is for (although I put notes in). I wanted a physical and blood work. I originally booked for 7 AM on Monday but wanted to change it to Friday at 2:20, so I called this BayCare location. TOLD THEM WHAT THE APPOINTMENT WAS FOR and they booked me for Friday. They called 1 hour before my appointment and after I’ve been fasting all day to tell me that they didn’t have the correct appointment type from ZoDoc and that we would have to reschedule. I mentioned that I spoke to someone the day before to book a new appointment and there was “no record of that interaction”. They decided to call me because “someone looked at the schedule and realized they couldn’t fit a physical” I’ll just go somewhere else. Provider more than likely just wanted to go home early on a Friday afternoon. Unacceptable

I had to visit this facility yesterday and was seen by Pete Baker, PA-C. He was so nice and made me feel very comfortable. He took his time and listened to my concerns. I would highly recommend him. I found the facility very clean also. M.Rich

Difficulty with Supervisor Ms Ashley Docy, (name she provided) Countryside Urgent Care after speaking to 3 staff and three phone calls spoke to Ms Ashley. She was non cooperative in providing our patient visit record nor would provide confirmation of visit or followup on blood results related to Corna Virus. Claiming not obligated to. As explained her refusal would of resulted in financial hardship as needed for government programs and for employer. Her method would effect not only my family but others in our community. Her office gave the lab phone number direct to patients to followup up on their own labs.. Lab tech stated they had several complaints come in from this Urgent Care location and even called to try to get Countryside Urgent care to obtain what she thought was a normal request. Lab suggested I call back and I was transferred to Ms Ashley, Supervisor she was resistant, lacked compassion, was sarcastic in acknowledging how her refusal would effect my family and others in our community and gave no real explanation . She refused to provide her supervisor or corporate office when requested phone number so to get additional assistance. Stated she was the highest level. When I questioned her avoidance to provide she then provided me with a customer service number to 1800Baycare. They took my information to pass on. Since, I spoke with Pinellas County Congressional office they asked I also inform state representative office of issue. Both offices became actively involved. Within a few hours a MD Chief Medical Officer of Baycare followed by a Quality Control Department supervisor called and represented Baycare as I know it best. They listened attentively we’re understanding and compassionate in response and went beyond to satisfy my concern and request. Even verbally and by email commended me for bringing the situation to their attention. The Quality Control dept also informed me they have received three similar complaints since. Thanking Congressional office yesterday they informed they received another complaint as well. The situation will be reviewed at the next Baycare board meeting to present for upcoming changes made to process.. Glad I could help to make a difference with the support of those Baycare professionals who care about us in community during this difficult time for all! Be safe!

Showed up for 3pm reservation 15 min prior with my confirmation. Staff claimed they never received a notice, dispite showing them my confirmation. There was no 3pm reservation on the board but they continued to argue that there was nothing they could do dispite the fact that it was their system that messed things up. Told me to come back at 4:34pm. Front desk staff acted like I was lying to them as did the person I talked to on the phone about the situation. Seems to me they could have treated me as a 3pm reservation and put me in the que for people with reservations, instead of saying there was nothing they could do but give me the next available reservation time.

Nurse Ashley was very courteous and caring and took me in right away. Waited maybe 2 minutes at best. Made me feel at ease and was very friendly. Doctor Pete Baker was quick and thorough in his asessment and follow up and such a friendly attitude. I would not hesitate to recommend your facility and personal. Thank you
