I thought that I had walking pneumonia because my husband was diagnosed just 2 days earlier.  The NP told me that Walking Pneumonia was not contagious, however I have read that it can be spread.  I was disapppointed that she sort of shrugged it off.  My lungs were clear but I am still feeling crappy and my cough is worse.

Woke up with a barking voice and felt like I was breathing through a straw. I’ve been sick enough times with this to know my upper airway is tight and the only thing that helps is oral steroid.  She didn’t want to listen to me from the start. Told me to drink honey lemon tea to help.  Worst care I’ve had here.

Wish the Dr would have spent more time and told me more of a treatment plan moving forward. She was so fast in and out.

Returned after being there Tuesday with the flu because I got a fever again & was feeling bad. I was retested for everything & got a chest xray which showed pneumonia. Doc was proactive in giving me a steroid shot & an antibiotic shot & called me in meds & gave instructions on how I needed to proceed.

Staff was friendly, attentive, painfully honest (shots to numb my finger for the procedure were painful just like the Dr. said they would be which I appreciated, not tolerating shots very well), and provided a quick solution for my problem.

Wife has been ill for a week. Tested negative for the COVID on Tuesday and Friday. Not getting better so we went to a different urgent care. The staff are great!

Check in was chaotic and stressful. The person working the front desk didn't seem to know what they were doing. It took an hour and a half during a time that wasn't busy for us to be seen. The printer wasn't working for us to get out post appointment paperwork and the prescription from the doctor was sent to the wrong pharmacy.

Doctor was insisting on Covid test which I don’t believe in, but felt pressured to acquiesce to do it.  I do not like swab in my throat as I have sensitive gag reflex and tend to vomit easily.  I did warn her of this.  I ended up with Flu B, she gave me two prescriptions, but since no pharmacies were open on Thanksgiving day I had to wait to fill them.  I did ask if injection was available, but she said Tamaflu does not come that way.  Additionally, the cough syrup she prescribed was not covered by Medicare drug plan, I believe I might have done as well on an OTC cough syrup.  Probably would not recommend this physician, but she was available on a holiday, so one must accept what’s is available.

I felt 100% better within hours.  I am glad I came when I did.
