What patients are saying...

My husband was seen at the Garden City Urgent Care yesterday. The front desk staff were amazing and the nurse that took us back to the room to check us in was great (I did not catch his name). However, when the nurse practitioner came in, Lauire Mitchell, she was immediately standoff-ish. She asked what was wrong and then completely dismissed everything that was said in a condescending attitude like both my husband I were small children. Instead of helping, trying to figure out what was wrong or anything really, Lauire dismissed the entire situation and said that falling hurts and that you shouldn’t go to the ER or an Urgent Care because its going to hurt. We had already waiting 12 hours and he couldn’t walk on the leg. She didn’t even want to take X-ray’s to make sure everything was ok, my husband had to push the subject until she finally said that she could take x-rays, but it isn’t going to show anything. The entire experience was like watching an adult interacting with a toddler for having a boo-boo. My husband continued to try to express to her that something was wrong, but her response every single time was that falling hurts and didn’t attempt to help or provide assistance in any way. She was completely unprofessional and dismissive; we ended up leaving with absolutely no help or anything given to us.

I Absolutely LOVED the girl who took my information! I believe her name was Andrea but I am not sure. She went out of her way to be So Caring and Understanding! I Liked her Immediately! Such a Sweetheart! The doctor was caring and understanding. There was a little bit longer wait than other urgent cares but my friend and I passed the time talking to a fella who was also waiting to be seen but overall it was a Nice Experience!
