They deleted my review on Google. I’m making it my business to post every where I can. The care I received was beyond unacceptable! I am not one to leave reviews but this was one of the worse urgent care visits I have ever experienced!! Today, I went in for a simple procedure just wanted to get my ears cleaned as I have always had terrible wax build up. The medical assistant who drained my ears with the water mixture, got the top of my shirt soaked as well as my entire mask. When I stated that I was wet, she said “Ok. The PA will be back in to check your ears”. Disregarded what I said. I had to ask for some napkins as well as a new mask. The PA- Alaina, comes back to check my ears, she has a tool to remove the remaining wax. Next thing I know, it felt like it went completely down my ear then it scraped up against the wall of my ear canal. Something immediately didn’t feel right. When I stated that, that was painful her response was “sorry, but I got it”. She then goes to my other ear, gets some wax out then proceeds to tell me “well there is some wax left in the canal but when you get home go in with a Q-tip to get the remaining wax that’s left”. That was another red flag, every medical professional I have ever seen has told me not to use Q-tips. Meanwhile, there were Q-tips on the counter she could have very well did it herself. That being the reason I came in. After the PA stated that, she proceeded to just get my paperwork. I instantly grabbed a Q-tip from the counter to check the ear that she hurting and it was bleeding. It look several Q-tips to soak up the blood coming from the inside of my ear. When the PA came back into the room, I addressed my bleeding ear and her response was “yes, the ear canal is very sensitive” and I just blanked out after that because I couldn’t understand how she’s explaining something to me, that she did! I understand mistakes happen but I felt disregarded and brushed off as if I did it to myself. My mom tried to call back to again, address the issue and the staff was rude to her. My ear has been throbbing for hours, I feels like it a lot of water in my ear that can’t get out. Again, I’ve had this problem since a child and have had this done countless times over the course of my life and I have never walked out with a bleeding ear, ever!!! If anything it has always been relieving. I will never be back!
