I was able to schedule online easily through the website. When I arrived at the clinic was greeted warmly and treated kindly at check-in. I only waited 5–6 minutes before being taken back for triage. Dr. Stacy Baker was kind, listened to everything I had to say and thorough in her questions and exam. If I need to be seen urgent care again. I will definitely come back here and recommend Broken to Better Urgent Care to anyone needing to be seen.

Well, I went in because I’ve been having tea colored urine which as a RN of 20 years I was 99% sure that that involves blood in the urine. Doctor took a urine sample. And did two KUB x-rays to rule out any large kidney stones or such. Well I respect his professional opinion as a PA. I think it would’ve been more prudent, from what I’ve seen at 20 years as an RN, to have put me on Bactrim DS today despite recommending getting a CT scan and bloodwork as well. I’ve had this happen years ago and it cleared up with the simple prescription of Bactrim DS for 10 days. That would not have caused any harm in my opinion right now since he already gathered a urine sample to send out for culture for E. coli and such bacterium .  I think starting me on an antibiotic immediately would’ve been wiser more prudent recommendation. Tomorrow I will contact my regular primary MD and go see him and get his opinion. Sure, it never hurts to get bloodwork and a CT to take it to the next level. But in the meantime, I think he should’ve been a little more proactive and it sure would not have heard it getting me started on an antibiotic immediately pending further testing.

The wait was long due to an internet outage earlier in the day. Usually, this place is super fast which I why I always choose it. That being said, the care, attention, time, and thorough discussion I received from Dr. Laurice Ingram was unprecedented. Even though it was an urgent care visit, he helped me problem solve and also discuss a long term health issue. He was informative and very respectful that I know my health history and have valuable experience. Highly recommend even when the wait is long!!!!
