This is my second time at Carbon Health Escondido, Both times I’ve had a positive experience. Excellent, friendly, professional staff, very short or non-existent wait times and good care. It’s so nice to be able to make a same-day appointment for urgent care. The only negative is that Carbon Health Does not take my insurance. Highly recommended

Made an appointment specifically for an X Ray of my foot. I drove 45 minutes to get there. They took my $75 copay and then proceeded to tell me that they no longer do X rays at the Escondido location. Mind you they still advertise X ray as a service on their website and in the front window. I was told I would have to go to another location in San Marcos for the X ray. Waste of my time, especially while injured.

My dog tore up my arm (accidentally) and within 48 hours it was infected. I looked online for a local urgent care and found Carbon Health. I was able to schedule online super easy. Showed up for my appointment and waited a short time before I was taken to a room. After blood pressure & temp, I waited another 30 minutes for a doctor. She said they were really busy and apologized for the wait. Considering emergency room is hours I had no complaints. My wounds were attended to and after a scrip for antibiotics & a tetanus shot, then we scheduled a follow up and I was out the door. Really nice staff and attentive doctor. Clean place and convenient. I highly recommend Carbon Health Urgent Care!
