The last two times coming here have not been the best. They were also late opening this morning. The medical assistants that were on staff both time do not have good beside manners and don’t seem to know what they should do when a client comes in. One comes off as standoffish and rude the other just seems lost. They took weight and a temp, no blood pressure or pulse. The doctor is good, he has good bedside manner and was helpful. I don’t think I will come back to Carbon Health for my urgent care needs, I will be looking for another one.

It was very easy to schedule an appointment online. I was checked in and seen immediately. My concern was addressed and properly treated. This was my 2nd visit to this office. ( Different ailment) I definitely recommend this provider.

Support the staff in making clear in online scheduling from the website what appointment type is available. When confirming appointments, ensure the correct services are available at the patient’s time or offer to reschedule to the appropriate time. It makes everyone’s life easier! Otherwise the services themselves were quick and efficient; the office was clean and the staff professional.

From finding the clinic to seeing the NP, 1 hour, that’s incredible. The NP was okay but didn’t give me much confidence. He said I could take antibiotics, but it sounded like either way, whether I take them or not, I’d feel better in 2-3 days. I came in because I feel sick, have already been using over-the-counter meds for 4 days and don’t want this to drag out. Honestly, it felt like a bit of a waste of time, but the problem is that there’s no quick test in an office visit to confirm whether a sinus infection is bacterial or viral, so this NP leaned towards prescribing antibiotics just to cover their bases. If it’s viral, the antibiotics do nothing except risk side effects and antibiotic resistance. When I raised this point, his response was, “I’ve never encountered anyone that has had side effects”. That’s a terrible response. Just because he hasn’t personally seen side effects doesn’t mean they don’t happen. Even if the risk of serious side effects is low, there are still real downsides, like killing off good bacteria and antibiotic resistance…

They listened to what I needed and took care of me right away. All staff were really friendly.

The entire process took less than 30 minutes. I especially loved that I could book an appointment online. I only wish that I could have received an after visit summary when I was done. Overall great experience.
