My daughter had a sinus infection. You could look at her face and see the swelling around the sinuses. The Dr. Dom Bermudez came in and asked her if she could taste or smell her food, which she couldn't and both are common with sinus infections. He automatically said it was COVID. I had to insist on a anitbiotic knowing this was a sinus infection. The Dr. said that it's been his experience that everyone who can't taste or smell has Covid. Interestingly enough, after a few rounds of the anibiotic, she felt better AND the Covid test came back negative. It would have been nice for the Dr. to actually be more thorough in his examination of my daughter before ASSUMING she has Covid, especially since not tasting and smelling often occurr with sinus issues. We consider this our urgent care and have had great experiences there. IF we continue to use this facility, we will be calling first to see who is on duty. If it's Dr. Bermudez, we will be going elsewhere.

The worst experience. Very timely and nurses were nice but the doctor was horrible. He already made up his mind what was wrong with me when he walked in, and was only in the room a MAXIMUM OF 90 seconds. No one even looked at my symptoms paper I filled out or even asked for it until I got my discharge papers! If they looked at it or they’d see my cough isn’t just a cough but is causing shortness of breath and chest pain! How about address the asthma flair up my cough has caused and how my inhaler I use isn’t helping (the nurse addressed this of which the doctor never spoke of). How about a breathing treatment or steroids to control the inflammation of my airway! No just antibiotics and cough syrup. Good thing I’m a nurse and know I’m not acutely in danger of dying, but the average person who comes in and writes down shortness of breath could actually be in trouble. They get one star for asking about allergies, but would never recommend this place to anyone. They asked if I had asthma, allergies, and surgeries and anything I’d taken for my cough. They never asked about any routine medications I take or any medical history whatsoever. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
