I went yesterday with a special needs adult grandson for Covid testing. We had appointments but it was 45 minutes before we were seen. It was very crowded. All but one person was for covid testing. A lot were walk in. Staff was very friendly and the tech who did our test was very good with my grandson. He was very scared and she took her time with him. Most people just try to force him. Thank you

I registered online for an appointment, and even downloaded the Solv app. I followed the instructions and checked in on arrival, and the app showed that there were 3 people in front of me. I waited an hour, the app showed 2 people in front of me. At that time I called the urgent care and the phone went to a full voicemail box immediately. An hour and half went by, the app still showed 2 people in front of me. I called again, with the same outcome to voice mail (as well as a 3rd and 4th attempt over a course of 15 mins). I walked into the urgent care - *the front door had a hand written sign that “wait times can be 2 hours and if you aren’t willing to wait please go to another location”. I quickly went into the restroom and back out to my car; responsibly waiting on my covid test since I have symptoms. At approx 2hrs I went into the facility and inquired with the receptionist about the 1hr wait time. She was RUDE telling me that I should have checked in inside with her. I proceeded to tell her that I used the app, made my appointment, checked in with it, and had all my info filled out including symptoms and insurance. She said that they don’t use the app and insisted I misunderstood and should have checked in in person. I asked why she wasn’t answering the phone and I was given a bad excuse about having AT&T and only answering a specific number of phone calls?! Literally she had the phone off/routed to a voice mail box that was full so no one could even leave a message. (I called when in the waiting room and her phone didn’t even ring). Both bedside staff discussed the app/online problem and were apologetic. The bedside staff had fantastic bedside demeanor and handled my care/testing appropriately. They did state that the online app wasn’t integrated with their process at this facility. I WASTED 2 HOURS SITTING IN A PARKING LOT FOR NO REASON, and then basically was told it was my own fault by the receptionist who clearly wasn’t even answering the phones.
