I went for my initial annual exam which was to include a physical exam. The doctor was courteous. However, he did not do the physical exam and when I ask him about this, I was told to make a appointment and he would finish the exam. I asked the doctor about the co-pay and he stated it was covered and would be no charge. Upon returning to my next appointment and he was no longer there. I questioned the front office regarding co-pay and incomplete physical exam. I was told he is not here anymore and there's nothing I can do. Eventually I spoke with I believe the office manager, she said the same thing, however she said it has been billed and coded at physical exam and there was nothing that could be done. I was embarrassed by the time the office manager came out there were several people at the front staring at me and backing up the office managers statements. Also other patients in line were staring at me. I'm in Health care and I find this unacceptable. My NP and the person who checked me in we're awesome. Its a shame that is appears to be about coding, payment and not about the patients rights and well being
