I took my husband to urgent care due to a recurring sciatic nerve pain and he was in excruciating pain. Upon entering to be seen in the medical side, my husband requested I accompanied him because he wanted me for comfort which they refused. He continued to asked but immediately was approached by a staff saying he was being vulgar and was going to call the cops which she did. A young lady came to diffuse the situation and escorted my husband in the exam room. The Dr came in the room, asked my husband his issue, and immediately stated she couldn’t help him and felt threatened and asked us to leave. I’m a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Substance Abuse. I felt as soon as my husband came in he was labeled as if he was seeking for narcotics. In my field, we are exposed to all types of behavior but we are trained to treat everyone conditions and diffuse a situation. In my professional opinion, the staff including the provider with the exception of the lady that assisted my husband need intensive training on assisting pts in crisis due to pain and being professional with pts. I usually don’t write reviews but was disturbed on the unprofessional way the situation was handled for a pt that had a sciatic nerve pain.

Dr. Gupta, is unprofessional and her attitude to be called a “doctor” is horrible. i don’t recommend her at all. my mother suffers from a respiratory disease, and she refused to give her medical attention because she said it’s “covid”, my mom then got tested for covid not once but TWICE at the hospital and both tests for covid came back negative and she said “those tests aren’t even legit”. if something happens to my mother, i hope it stays in her conscious. So unprofessional, and i don’t want this doctor to ever come near my mother again.
