At the CU Family Health Clinic - Sheridan Campus, we discovered a commitment to providing a wide range of health services for both adults and children. Originating in 1995 with providers from the University of Colorado College of Nursing, the clinic operates under Sheridan Health Services, Inc., a nurse-managed, federally-qualified health center.

In our observation, the clinic offers primary care, behavioral health, oral health, and pharmacy services, diligently working to meet the various needs of patients. The Sheridan Family Health Clinic additionally provides dental, maternity, and pediatric primary care, while the Sheridan Youth Health Clinic focuses on primary care for children and teens, including dental hygiene care.

We found that the clinics are open from 8 am to 5 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Wednesdays, the Family Health Clinic extends its hours from 10 am to 7 pm, and the Youth Health Clinic is open from 10 am to 6 pm. For those who are ill and need immediate attention, the clinic makes an effort to accommodate same-day appointments.

Regarding payment, the clinic accepts Medicaid, CHP+, and private insurance plans, including those from Cigna, Anthem, United Healthcare, Rocky Mountain Health Plan, and Multi-Plan. For uninsured individuals, there's a Sliding Fee Discount Program available, and assistance is provided for Medicaid registration and enrollment through Connect for Health Colorado.
