This is my first bad review and I’m horrified that I even have to warn others. I will be reposting this review repeatedly on all forums so that it’s constantly seen by other potential victims. I will also be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. Let me start by saying….I am absolutely DISGUSTED with this medical facility. And that's putting it nicely. For starters...I had a horrible fall and went to this facility for medical care and advice. They charged me $160 right off the bat, before even being seen. I said..."even though I have medical insurance?" (I have FL Blue, Blue Cross/Blue Shield). They said “yes, we have a contract with the insurance company, and you have not met your deductible”. I was fine with that because I thought that was actually the case. Part of the paperwork they had me sign was a no refunds contract. I signed it, under the understanding that I had not met my deductible, because that’s what I was told. It is THEIR JOB to check my policy and determine if there is a copay/deductible. I did not know until AFTER I received my FL Blue Health Statement that I have NO DEDUCTIBLE for urgent cares, only a $50 copay. I trusted Dr. G’s Urgent Care to know what they were talking about, and not be deceitful, and sneaky, and lie. I called, and my insurance company also called, and they will not refund me, although they accepted my payment, and then turned around and also processed my claim with my insurance company, and accepted payments from both of us. Double dipping. They told me that they would only give me a credit. Like it’s Macy’s Department Store and I’m returning a shirt. I would NEVER in a million years go back there!! The medical advice I received was medical malpractice. My lip was displaced (half of it up in the air!) and I was told to go home, put ice and Neosporin on it, take ibuprofen, and let it heal. She said if, down the road, once it’s healed, I need to have plastic surgery on it to put it back into place, then they will send me at that time, but there’s nothing that can be done right now, and to just be patient and let my body to its thing. A week later an oral surgeon told me that I needed surgery immediately. My lip was healing like that… displaced. The plastic surgeon that did my surgery was absolutely furious that they would not send me out immediately to get surgery. Instead, she had to go in, cut out a lot of scar tissue that had formed in 10 days, and then sew my muscles back together. I am still recovering from the surgery, which was more in depth than it should have had to be, a month later. Instead of them saying, yes, we quoted you an incorrect amount because we didn’t do our job correctly and you actually had NO DEDUCTIBLE, Dr. G’s Urgent Care refuses to reimburse me the amount “because I signed the contract”. Again, I signed the contract under the understanding that my deductible had not been met! What a kind, caring medical facility to be so crooked. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! There are other facilities to go to that won’t mislead their patients, lie and steal. A rep from my insurance company said she had never seen this in the 15 years she has worked there.

Mon (last week): Pre-op at Dr G’s for urinary issues scheduled this week. Intake rep at Dr G's took my list of meds and allergies. I noticed my urine specimen was RED. Physican Asst said don't worry, they'll call with results. Wed: Lab portal showed results were in but I could not see them until reviewed by a Dr. Thurs: I called, but I would not be given my results. Fri: My surgeon's office called and was told I had a urinary infection, and the staff of Dr G's would call me with the information and a prescription by the end of the day. Sat: Still no call, yet my surgery was scheduled for Monday. Mon (this week): I had my surgery, never hearing from Dr G's. Tues morning (day after my surgery): Dr G's called to say I had an infection and that they were sending a prescription for a medication even though I am allergic to it, because my allergy was not in the records. Tues afternoon (2nd call on the same day after my surgery): Dr G's called to say I had an infection and they were still prescribing the same medication to which I am allergic .... even though they now confirmed my allergy was finally in their records. NOTE: Last week I made a request for Karen Pargeuro, Director of Ops to call me, or have the CEO call me. I was told they would only do it if they felt it was important. Saturday I called again and asked for the CEO to call me by Tuesday and I was told they would indeed have the CEO do that. Neither of them ever called me. WARNING ... .YOU MAY INDEED BE TAKING YOUR LIFE IN YOUR OWN HANDS AT DR G'S URGENT CARE

I was forgotten in the waiting room, for over an hour, despite having an appt, checking in per the instructions, and confirming my position on the online wait list. That part- not good. However, the front office staff was SO friendly once they realized what had happened. The CNA, nurse, and doctor were fantastic. So that part of my visit was fantastic. I would come back, despite the wait room fiasco. The staff really made up for it.

The doctor was very good. However the front office staff were too concerned about making a payment when I was having an allergic reaction to a medication and needed urgent care.

My son was sick 4 days and nobody find what happened to him, I explained to u the situation u found a problem now my baby is better

Mi hijo se cayó en la escuela, cuando fui a buscarlo me asusté mucho porque lo vi con mucho dolor e inflamación.  Busqué por segunda vez los servicios de este urgen care y una vez más mi experiencia fue maravillosa. Gracias a Dios mi hijo no tenía fractura, también gracias al staff por que me recibió con mucha amabilidad: desde el front desk, doctor, auxiliaries.
