I recently brought my mom to this urgent care and I was shocked to see they are still enforcing mask mandates for patients. After five years, it's well-documented that masks don't provide significant protection in most everyday settings, and even hospitals have moved on from this requirement. Continuing this outdated policy feels unnecessary and inconvenient, especially when the majority of healthcare facilities no longer require masks. It's frustrating to see this level of rigidity when the focus should be on providing efficient and patient-centered care. I hope the management reconsiders this unnecessary practice.
