Over the last 7+ years, I've been seen here because they have great doctors. However, the front desk/staff/nurses are cold and RUDE. My surgeon advised me to have my PCP start the SSI process. The manager, Jessica, informed me there wasn't anyone there that knew the process and they dont fill out forms or assist with time off of work, short term disability, or SSD. She then stated, "they aren't "liable" for any of that." She went on to provide me the SS office number and said that was the best she could do. I was speechless.  I pointed out, I've only been seen at this facility and they're refusing to help provide the steps they're recommending. Her response was, "well, I went out of my way to call and get the number to SS from your surgeons secretary. 😳 Then, for the Grand finale she said, I would need to find a Physician OUTSIDE of this Practice if I needed these forms submitted. .... I'm still sitting in my car (1hr later); trying to process the idea of having to go to a Dr. I've never seen before to guide me through this entire process. I'm in shock and in complete disbelief.
