Twice now, once in 2021 and once in July 2022, I have scheduled an appointment during their hours of operation on a weekend. I filled out all of my information and received a confirmation email about my appointments. Both times, when I arrived at the scheduled time of my appointment, the doors were looked, lights turned off, and my phone calls went unanswered. If you're not going to be open, correct your hours of operation.

I took my friend here to get a Rapid COViD test and she was rudely told that it was by appointment only. While she was waiting to be told this the nurse sent a young boy with a slight cut away and he was told he would need to go to the ER. Nurse was very rude and appeared to be very lazy. Do not recommend!!! By the way both my friend and the boy went next door to App Family Medicine Urgent Care where they were both were welcomed by friendly staff and treated by professionals.

Caraway 3 reviews just now I visited FastMed Urgent Care this morning after experiencing increasing pain from sciatica to the point I was unable to walk. They brought me a wheelchair immediately and assisted me in a very concerned and compassionate manner. I had come unprepared without a copy of my insurance card, so I was concerned they would be unable to treat me without the proper documentation. They were able to retrieve verification of my insurance through Watauga Medical Center. They treated my issue extremely quickly, even though several people were ahead of me in line. That usually means an hour wait anywhere else. I was first met by a medical assistant, Yankee Don. He was fabulous and demonstrated a great amount of care, compassion and competence. He was so attentive to all my needs. If you’re in pain or not feeling well, you could not ask for a better person to reassure you that you will be taken care of. Yankee Don was born to help people and he should be commended for his work ethic and treatment of his patients. I then met Greg, who I believe is a physician’s assistant. Greg was so nice, considerate and knowledgeable. He knew exactly how to diagnose and treat my issue. Greg educated me about the cause of my problem, and a lot of healthcare workers do not take the time to explain why you’re not feeling well. He precisely diagnosed my problem and made me feel that I was in the best hands. He treated my issue completely and provided follow up care instructions. Within an hour, I was completely pain-free and able to walk on my own without any narcotic pain medication whatsoever. Greg is literally a miracle worker, if you ask me, and I feel so fortunate that I was in his care. Upon my departure, I was escorted to my car by Yankee Don, who was so attentive to my needs until he was sure I was comfortably seated in my vehicle and ready to leave. They called in a prescription to a local pharmacy, but I had a problem with my insurance. I contract MedFast and Yankee Don assisted me, contacting me several times to make sure I was able to obtain my prescription. He is literally the nicest man ever. The process, from beginning to end, was top-notch, from check-in to check-out, and beyond. Speed of service...5 stars. Attention to patient needs...5 stars. Competence...5 stars. Professionalism...5 stars. Follow up care...5 stars. Good job, guys! I’m hard to impress. I’m impressed.
