What patients are saying...

1.0

I was referred from Vetwrans Affairs to this clinic for help with rehabilitation treatment. I waited about 3 weeks for my appointment. The first time I went in, I was brought into an office with a computer screen where I sat down and talked to a doctor/ therapist for a screening to be brought into the program. It was a virtual appointment. He seemed very knowledgeable and nice. I was then given an appointment for the following day to be inducted into the program. This was on a Thursday afternoon. I was to come in the next day, on Friday morning to start the program I checked in and then was brought into another office to speak to a doctor, Dr. Ahmed before starting the.program. He told me that I was not right for the program and that I would have no success. After begging him and telling him my story that I needed help he agreed to let me start. That is qhe t e the nightmare began. I was given my first dose and waited 20 minutes. My blood pressure started to go up and I did not think much off it and I was given the 2nd dose. By the 3rs dose my blood pressure was spiking to 173/110. The doctor told the nurse 3 different times to give.me an ekg and she did not. At 3pm the nurse tokd.me I was being let go. My husband had dropped.me off and we live in Havelock. She then kicked.me.out of the office. Made.me leave out the back door and told.mw.to walk to the emergency room in Morehead. When I got to the emergency room I had a temperature of 93.4 and my blood pressure was 183- 111. I felt like I was having a heart attack. The doctor was supposed to call me in the prescription for my medication Saturday morning. I finally got a call at 7:30 pm Saturday night. I was never called in the prescription. I had a virtual meeting with the doctor a d he romd.me that he would call.in the medication on Sunday morning. Once again never did. So here it is Sunday afternoon at 4:16 still no medication and he did nothing to help.me. j am so disgusted at the way I was treated not.only from the nurse that kicked.me out at 3pm on Friday to letting me leave under distress and making me was to the emergency room. Please do not see this doctor. I have no idea how they can possibly treat people like this. I am 100% disabled veteran who served my county and was in Iraq for a year. All I have to say is I am absolutely reporting them to the better business and anyone else who will.kisten.
