I can’t say “worst ever” because the office staff was wonderful, the facility was clean, and there was even complimentary coffee. I I knew the wait time would be long, and I know I could have gone home and come back, but I decided to relax and wait. Had I had a good experience with the doctor, I would even have rated wait time higher. Unfortunately, I didn’t even see a doctor. A gentleman came into the room, didn’t even introduce himself, and proceeded to tell me my sinus infection was just a virus, before asking me any questions about it or examining me. I came to this facility because my records are here. Had he looked at them, he would have seen that the only thing I ever get—once every year or two—is a sinus infection. I’m not one of those patients who asks for antibiotics every other day. But when I tried to explain this to him, he proceeded to tell me that all the other times, those infections were probably viral too, and they were mistreated. I was polite, asked questions, and tried to articulate my situation....I have been fighting this for four weeks, and now it has taken a turn for the worse. But my attempts were to no avail. He had decided before walking in the door. I didn’t appreciate being condescended to and treated as if I were not an articulate, educated, intelligent woman, who is quite aware of her health needs. When I left, my paperwork had a woman’s name on it, so I have no idea who he was. Three hours completely wasted, and I went home every more exhausted and sick....
