I have been there alot I have never seen a person of color there. Why do you have to point out her color. Anybody can be rude. It depends on the person at the front desk I have one lady who isn't so friendly but not rude that must just be her personality. The people there are very quiet and reserved I dont find them friendly or not friendly. I find them as people just getting their job done. It's very horrible that she screamed at you but pointing out her race is not nice either. Overall I'm very happy to have them so close to me they have been great for my boys who are always getting hurt and directed me correctly when they needed to go to the hospital.

I (82 yr. old) was highly embarrassed for receiving a call on my cell from the daughter of 86 yr. patient checking on her mom. The person behind the desk was a person of color and she started yelling at me to go out to the lobby. I swear to God, I did not notice the no cell sign, other wise I would have shut the phone off in the first place. I did not get her name, but she was the only person of color and this took place at 10:30 a.m. on 1/11/19. Too many people in office to ask her name. NO excuse to treat a patient, let alone an elder. Definitely needs a "people skills" class. The rest of the staff was friendly and cordial. Again, I apologize for not seeing the sign. I have a cheap flip phone and do not text so I rarely receive calls. She certainly left me with a bad taste in my mind. My friend was very pleased with her treatment. It leaves with perhaps I'll take my chances with the ER at Morton and be treated with respect.
