Watch your billing if you go to their express care. They bill it as a er visit because it is under the same tax code as cape fear hospital and they label themselves as a "speciality hospital" but their sign says express care. I was diagnosed with a fracture of my big toe, was not offered any pain meds...when I asked for something for pain I was told all they had was tylenol and was not even offered that....but yet they bill as a "er visit". What a scam they are running.

Horrible experience, The lady took my blood pressure with a coat an Hoodie on? How could anyone get an accurate reading that just showed she didn't care what it was!!! Next I sit I the room for over 30 minutes listening to staff playing and laughing as they walked by once the nurse came in to test me for the flu and covid it went down hill fast!! She completed the flu test and it came out positive, she messed the covid / the one pulling the straps down my throat and informed me she messed it up? And leave I'm sitting in the room another 30 minutes and the doctor enters as he ask me questions he cuts me off before I can answer I was trying to inform him that the nurse said the covid test was not going to read but he kept interrupting me as I was under the impression she would get another test kit and try again IT'S IT'S SAD TO SEE WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT THE PEOPLE THEY TOOK OATHS TO HELP AND LESSEN THEIR PAIN the doctor would not even allow me to talk he said everything and was in an out first he informed me I had both the flu and covid then 15 minutes later he come back and said he's rushing the covid test didn't have anything and I told him that because the nurse messed it up these test are not expensive at all but to be dehumanizing not just me but my family as well was just unbelievable!!! They didn't even care enough to listen to the paient I and form the doctor that I had the strep throat also with mucus and Cold, blood etc coming out of my ears my face was swollen my throat was swollen and sore I can barely drink water he did not even try to have the lady do the covid test again nor did he even look down my throat as the nurse stated he would and he told me I was fine both glands on the side of my neck are still swollen and he did not prescribe any antibiotics I'm going to make a formal complaint and also to the Health Dept. Covid unit for then not even testing me the correct way for covid and send me home to my family and kids they knew I had the flu which makes me high risk to also have the covid?? And the only thing the so called doctor done was give me Mucinex my face and wrote neck both glands on side of my face and neck are clearly swollen and he gave me Mucinex no antibiotics or nothing you telling me I'm not worth a complete diagnosis and treatment days later and I feel worst than before haven't gotten better and the " Medical Professionals " don't give a sh@t!!! WoW it's sad

They messed up my insurance. I had to call Blue Cross/Blue Shield myself to get things sorted and it took multiple phone calls. Some of the staff are not very professional and many do not seem well trained. Some of the physicians and nurse practitioners are extremely conservative/judgmental. It's almost as if they've never experienced any type of diversity in their life.

My nurses Jenn and Linda and everybody else was so caring and nice. They kept checking on me. Thank you so much! I am very grateful. BH
