I called at 12:45pm wanting to see if I could get on the wait list for the day since the appointments had booked up. I was in the mountains and hurt my wrist really bad and wanted to try and get X-rays. I was told on the phone that I could get put on the wait list and if anyone cancelled I would get a text 20 minutes before I would be able to be seen which was perfect since I wouldn’t be back in the area for a couple hours but would just be waiting at home for the text. I received the text at 5:38pm telling me that the exam suite would be ready soon and to head to the clinic (I had already filled out the paperwork online and the text didn’t give me a link to click or a “Reply __ to confirm” or any other indication that a reply was necessary). I was only 15 minutes away so it was perfect timing. I got there in 15 minutes and the receptionist told me she had taken me off the waitlist because I didn’t reply to the text and that she would have to put me back on the wait list. ??? Okay. That defeated the purpose of texting me and telling me the suite was almost ready and again there was no indication that I should have replied to the text. She puts me back on the wait list and at this point it’s about 6pm. I receive another text in the lobby that my visit is now scheduled for 7:45pm (they close at 8pm). This text had a “Reply Y to confirm and N to cancel” so I replied Y and assumed that would hold my place. I was tired and hungry from the drive from the mountains and I was already frustrated that I had to wait more just because I didn’t reply the first time so I left to go eat and wait somewhere else that wasn’t an urgent care lobby since the text said my visit was scheduled to be at 7:45. I come back to the clinic at 7:40pm to check in and the same receptionist told me they didn’t have any rooms and that she took me off of the wait list because I left the lobby. At this point I was extremely frustrated because I’ve now been taken off of the wait list twice when I had done everything the way I was supposed to and there was zero communication that I was expected to stay in the lobby for almost two hours when I had gotten a confirmed visit time. The receptionist said that they close at 8pm, they have other patients in all of the rooms, and that the system generated a text to me when she put me “back on the schedule” and that it shouldn’t have said I had an appointment for 7:45. … that is not my fault, because it did tell me that exact information and also said “thank you we look forward to seeing you soon” when I replied Y to confirm the visit time. She seemed really agitated and started getting short with her responses when I was explaining to her what it looked like from a patient point of view with the information I was given. Overall the communication was less than ideal it left me feeling like I did something wrong when I had taken all of the necessary steps to ensure I was on the waitlist several hours prior. She said she would put me back on the waitlist for the third time and within two minutes, someone came to take me to a room. The medical assistant (I think that’s the right title?) that checked me in was extremely sweet and had amazing bedside manner. The doctor, x-ray tech, and another staff member that put my splint on were all extremely respectful and I could tell they were rushing a little bit since they were closing soon but I was really thankful that they took the time to help me and not make me feel like I was a burden to them. They got my x-ray results back quickly and sent me home with a splint that made my wrist feel a lot better so I’m thankful I was able to be seen despite the rocky interactions I had with the receptionist. I understand that it may have been a long day and that they get yelled at all day by people who complain about the waitlist so I know it can get frustrating, so I tried to be as respectful and helpful as I could. It was ultimately unprofessional and I hope they can figure out their waitlist system so that it has a more clear form of communication to their patients to prevent situations like this in the future.

Took a fall a few months ago, came into urgent care to help with pain management, we were greeted and sat pretty quickly. Front desk staff was so kind and helpful. She even managed to schedule my daughter as a walk in for pain in her wrist. We were both seen and taken care of. In and out pretty quickly and we’re both feeling much better today. 10/10 Highly Recommend

As a walk in I was concerned that I wouldn’t receive care but boy was I wrong.  I was checked in by a very kind front desk person who asked what my needs were, briefly waited in a clean waiting area, gave a urine sample in a clean bathroom then waited to be seen . Everyone was wonderful. Left with a prescription and peace of mind.

It took a long time. We went in at 9:45, registered then left until our turn. We got in to see the provider at about 3:15. From there on, it was a great experience, warm and friendly staff, very caring. Nothing negative to say. I just wish it hadn't taken so long.
