We went back in for blood results after a week. After a extended wait we were told her results were not back. I new appointment was booked a week later. We received a call right before the new appointment that her blood was lost. She had to come back in for another blood draw. This blood draw was a bit rough and her arm was sore for several day and a hematoma present. They said they would try to rush the results and would call us as soon as they come in. Ten more days went back and I called to check on the result. They pulled up her info and said the results just arrived…hmmm…what a coincidence. The results indicated Mono and due to complications of a enlarged spleen shouldn’t have been riding horses. Which had been doing that whole time. Thankfully everything was fine but this was not a great experience.
