My telemed video portion of my appt had problems but we were able to have a solid and comprehensive meeting yesterday via audio over the phone. The ANP I spoke with was patient helping to interpret the radiology report and focus on the most important suggestions made in the referral. There were guidelines based on measurements and findings from the CT Scan of both the abdomen and chest area. My husband was not having any severe pain but a slightly nagging discomfort after hernia surgeries from his distant past. The discussion seemed supportive of our wishes and future consultation with the local SEARHC CLINIC's visiting physician who we plan to see later in the week, Dr Jackson.

I also default back to where I feel safe and cared for my medical care or basically spoiled. I know I have to find another provider but I’m very careful with whom I hand over my medical records over that is a a thumb drive 20 years worth of records. My wife reminded me that I can do an telemedicine appointment on my cell I quickly said yes and right away my anxiety levels returned to zero and called urgent care!! I miss all the staff at Juneau Urgent Care!!

Scheduled an appointment for 11am. Got a confirmation of it. Just before 11 got a confirmation verification request for 11. Went  on line at 11:48.  I then got a text from Morgan that I was early for my 11:30 appointment. Was told that you don’t schedule appointments for on the hour only on the 1/2 hour. Why was this not addressed at the time of the appointment?  Additionally,  why was I sent a confirmation request for 11 & not for 11:30? Since I was on my wife’s computer & she was now not home, I told her I would stay on the call. At I hour on “hold” I called the office and was basically told tough. About 35 minutes later I finally able to talk with the PA. Does no one monitor your system? What is your priority of seeing patients with regard to walk ins,scheduled appointments, and telehealth appointments? I understand serious situations come first. Even with the 11:30 appointment it was 45 minutes before the consultation began. No one came on line to explain the delay. Pretty sure if I had been in the office someone would have stuck their in in the door to explain the delay.

We were in sinc right up until time for the call to be made. The nurse did not call for the usual meds verification, nor the text notification to connect. I waited for 3 hours, but nothing. I checked my phone to make sure I hadn't somehow missed the call or text...nothing. I assume there must have been an emergency, and my appointment fell through the cracks. Hopefully, we can make tjis up, as I am needing prescriptions.
