Disappointing Healthcare Experience at Kaiser After two years with Kaiser, we've encountered a consistent decline in the quality of their services, particularly in urgent care and maternity care. Urgent Care Delays: Waiting times in urgent care are excessive, typically 4-5 hours despite empty rooms. Once inside, consultations stretch another hour, prolonging the overall experience unnecessarily. It's frustrating to dedicate an entire day to simply seeing a doctor. Maternity Care Challenges: Accessing referrals proved difficult, and the lack of a single point of contact led to frustrating disorganization. OBGYN nurses often lacked empathy, with one instance of an appointment cancellation after a 12-week wait. Follow-up communication after procedures was also absent. Referral Difficulties: We're currently struggling to obtain referrals for genetic counseling, with no response from the hospital staff. This lack of communication and support is extremely concerning. Primary Care Concerns: Primary care hasn't fared much better. Dr. Miriam Smith often delays referrals for weeks, and responses to inquiries are minimal. Scheduling appointments takes months, adding to the frustration. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend exploring other healthcare options before selecting Kaiser

Horrible experience! This was my first time at Kaiser Urgent Care and my last! I was referred by an Emergency doc via phone to seek care and get a CT for a head trauma within 12 hours. At arrival, a Medical Assistant blurted out, " why are you here? You should go to your Primary care" immediately informing me that they did not wish to help me! The medical receptionist checking me in stated the reason I was there was for a headache and it was down hill from there because then I was triaged at a low acuity! After 3 hours of waiting in the lobby no one had come to take me to get a CT scan and I knew it was because they had triaged me as low acuity which was not true. Feeling as though this had tainted the whole outcome and experience, I left without receiving any care whatsoever after 3 hours of waiting in the lobby !!!!

Made a night of migraine pain into a nightmare. Refused to keep voices down though I begged and cried. Implied i was using er for a fix. Never checked on me or with my wife in waiting room. Ģave me a push of pain med then said it was time to go, pulling blankets off me. I could barely stand but no one helped me dress or asked if the pain was better. It wasn't. They put papers in my hand and watched me stumble around the hall way, no idea where I was going. I would bleed out before I ever went in there again. No. Really.
