I called Mid Michigan because my Dr is there and asked if they were giving the Covid vaccine yet. The lady on the phone told me that they do have it but that I had to be on a waiting list to get a call back because they did not know how to schedule them yet. I have a friend that uses another mid Michigan location in the Beaverton area and she called and was told the same thing. I don’t understand why one would announce that they have a vaccine that most of the public really wants without any kind of procedure or training to make the appointment when we call to make one. It made me not want to get the vaccine from that company at all.

This facility is truly a joke! The staff treat you by your appearance. When you wait in the lobby and observe, you can clearly see who is in what clique it is very obvious. It’s sad that this area is limited to health care choices and Mid Michigan Health does nothing about the rude receptionists they have had for years and have done nothing about the way she treats people. Obviously the communication there is awful! I got to the facility for a Covid test in their drive thru. When I called that morning, I was told to go to the big tent and wait for my COVID test. I waited and waited ... the rep told me testing starts at 10am, it’s now 10:18 and I call again , waited for 10 minutes to speak to a rep. The rep puts me on hold about 4 minutes and then told me to go to the Ambulance entrance because I was waiting in the wrong spot. No apology for the miscommunication. No apology for waiting for nothing. It was the same department that told me to wait somewhere else only an hour ago!

I went in this afternoon with a cough, shortness of breath and tightening in my chest. I was asked if my shortness of breath required me to be rushed to the back right then, or if I could wait until a room opened, I told her I could wait, I was then asked to sit in my car because of my symptoms, I told the nurse I was dropped off. She told me to sit in a wheel chair in the vestibule until they cleaned out a room in the back. A lady came in the door with a little boy, and a little girl. She told the nurse that the little girl fell off her bed two days ago and hit her back and was now complaining it was sore. They sat down in the waiting room for a couple of minutes, then called to the back. I called my daughter after waiting about another 1/2 hour, and told my daughter it was B.S that they took a little girl who walked in into the back first, because I was under the impression they treated people on urgency, and if they did not, the little girl was still checked in after me. The nurse then came into the vestibule yelling at me that I needed to leave. I asked her if she was refusing me treatment. I told it was wrong for them to take that girl back to see the dr and leave me sit there, she yelled at me to get out. I told her I was sick, and she rolled her eyes at me. (real professional of a nurse btw). she then yelled at me to get out and started yelling for someone to call security, so I just left. I have been going to this clinic for years, and have never seen this nurse before. Her name is Heather and she should never be allowed to provide care for people. I WILL be calling their HR department in the morning. BTW- I went to the ER and it turns out that I have bronchitis
