Brought my daughter in with the concern of walking pneumonia, turned out to be Croup but the staff were so nice and moved quick to get us checked out and with a doctor, bedside manner was perfect for an 18 month old that was scared.

The nurse practitioner was not very interactive or friendly with my son, which would be fine if he had received better care. My son was seen for persistent vomiting. I explained that he had not kept food or water down for about a day despite zofran at home. I tried to explain to the NP that he had not peed since 9am and it was now 5pm and was met with “he’s taking po fluids” when he hadn’t drank any po fluids at this point. He was given zofran, then assessed immediately giving him no time to eat the food or drink provided for a PO challenge, then discharged within 5 minutes after a physical exam. The NP said “looks like he is better”… my son is 2 and was acting normally, which I told her has been the normal for him when he is sick…. He proceeded to throw up 15 minutes after we left, after only 4 sips of the juice provided. I felt like this was a very dismissive visit with little to no guidance, information, or education. My son has not peed in nearly 12 hours so I called back to kidmed and was told he “has no signs of dehydration so attempt fluids in the morning” by the RN. I did not feel like this was correct so I reached out to our pediatricians office….Per our pediatrician on call this is extremely dangerous recommendation and my son likely should have received IV fluids and will need to go to the ER if he does not improve soon. I would not recommend this provider or location at this time. Historically I have had great experiences at KidMed, but this appointment was disappointing, unsafe, and extremely frustrating.

This is the third visit for the same condition. Each visit I pay a $40 copay and my insurance gets charged. I spoke to the  front office because I’m being charged each time with no real resolution for the same issue. The response was well it is an urgent care. I’m not sure how that helps or clarify. There was one woman at the front desk that was helpful and took my information for the manager to call. I doubt she calls but at least it was an attempt at action. The nurse assistant could have been friendlier. My son coughed in her face but why wasn’t she wearing a mask in the fist place. The actual practitioner was kind and considerate and helpful. Hopefully this is the last time I’ll have to visit for the same thing.

My daughter had a bad rash overnight. We needed to get her seen asap. They were quick, kind, and so well with her from the front desk, to the tech, to the NP! Will definitely be bringing my kids back anytime they’re feeling under the weather!

Got my daughter in right away and staff was amazing. Tested for all necessary viruses. Anna did a great and thorough job. She and the staff took their time to diagnose and help ease symptoms. I really appreciate the great care! Will definitely be back!
