Staff did not explain what was going on or what exactly I should be doing, at any point really. They didn't communicate with other staff on hand so I was mistakenly ushered around different Urgent Care areas multiple times incorrectly (I was COVID positive so I was shocked they were walking me around at all) and ultimately told to just sit and wait because they didn't know what I was meant to be doing and did not give me direction for lab testing. When they finally did complete one of the requested labs... they completely forgot to do the MOST important lab (the lab required for diagnosis of the very reason I was there) and came back to my room 20 minutes later and essentially said 'oops, I guess no one did that' and did not offer any explanation or apology. They walked me to a new area to do a lab, but did not offer any explanation of what to do or how to do it, then left. So, desperately needing help and guidance, I tried to call out for someone to help me but there was no one around, so after multiple minutes I ultimately ended up walking around shouting for help and walking aimlessly into rooms looking for anyone to assist - AGAIN, I WAS COVID POSITIVE AND WANDERING THE HALLS ALONE - only to wait minutes before someone appeared. When they did, they also did not understand what I was meant to be doing. Overall, this was the sloppiest, least professional experience I have ever had with any medical provider. At the end, I was given no clear instruction for how to move forward with this worrisome issue I presented... Definitely the strangest urgent care visit I have ever had and most concerning... I was actively fighting COVID and explicitly told all staff I was COVID positive and they literally ushered me around Urgent Care and then left me to wander on my own through the halls desperately looking for help...I am honestly still processing all of what happened. I don't even know what to think.

FYI...while waiting for my appointment I overheard the office chitchat that one nurses xxxz will be out for awhile because her son "came down with Covid"

I love this clinic. The doctors are awesome and the lab personnel are really good at what they do. I am very grateful for the quality health care I've received here.

The doctor told me I had bronchitis did not give me any medication or nothing he told me to take over the counter I don’t know what exactly he means but this happened several times and I have not gotten any better with in the last few years I am still having chest pain and is bad and I don’t know where else to go for help. If you’re a person of color or just in an out you don’t really get any help I’ve noticed several times if something happened and I die I hold him responsible because they did not take care of what I have going on for a test and bronchitis they just sent me home and said take over the counter I don’t even know what that means I’m going to go to Walgreens and ask the pharmacist what to take they are way more helpful than Fairview urgent care in Bloomington if you’re a person of color you’re just in an out you don’t really get any help I’ve noticed this several times if something happens and I die I hold them responsible because they did not take care of what I have going on for test and bronchitis they just sent me home and said take over the counter I don’t even know what that means I’m going to go to Walgreens and ask the pharmacist what to take they are way more helpful than Fairview urgent care in Bloomington I saw dr mark Nelson!!!!
