My name is Christina Joyner I am the owner and the nurse practitioner at Marshall Urgemt Care. I wanted to write-in response to lady that stated her daughter was turned away. First, I am truly sorry that you were disrespected in any form or fashion by any of my staff. If I knew who it was, I can promise you it would be addressed. Disrespect on any level is not tolerated. Second, I'm so truly sorry your precious daughter was turned away. I am normally the only practitioner in the office. I see as many patients as I possibly can. I do have to turn people away, but it's because I just can't see them all. I do not have a limit of 30 a day. I don't feel that is right. So my mission and goal everyday is to see as many as I can and still provide thorough and adequate care without putting anyone at risk. I struggle every day with turning people away because I'm not in it for the money. If I was, I would take everybody and see them and not worry about providing adequate and thorough care. I am very sympathetic with having a sick child. I pray your daughter got the care she needed. If you would like to talk to me, please please call me. The office number is 662-274-3218 My email is [email protected] I really hope you reach out to me because I want you to understand who I am, the care I provide and the love and passion I have for taking care of everyone that I possibly can. Best regards, Tina Joyner

My daughter visited Marshalls Urgent Care today only to be turned away because they were no longer seeing patients. My daughter is a college student. She was seeking a urgent care facility because she was bitten and as a result is swollen with red bumps on her skin. I called the facility and the nurse confirmed that she had in fact told her she wouldn't be able to be seen. Her physician only likes to see thirty patients per day and once they reach that limit, which they had done so at 1:30 today;they no longer see patients. It is my hope that at 3:40 pm the office was not at capacity. The office also closes at 5:00 pm, more than one hour later. I explained that this doesn't look good for this business. The nurse explained that this is a private business and has the right to cut off seeing patients. This is disturbing as this is an URGENT CARE facility. The nurse informed me that my daughter could go across the street to another facility. She had already referred my daughter to the emergency room. This is not a situation where there is a need for an emergency facility and a charge of hundreds of dollars. I am concerned about the professionalism and general care of this medical facility. Their lack of concern and dismissiveness is appalling and down right RUDE and INSENSITIVE! If you have a child in the town of Holly Springs, MS attending college and you are looking for medical care. Stay far away for this establishment. It is clear, they are only concerned about how many patients they see in a day and not about whether a person is in need of care and assisting.
