I'm not sure how this place got any 5 star reviews. Maybe the employees who are standing around. Brought hubby in this morning at 9. There were 2 people waiting and a couple in the back. There were tons of employees and none were doing much but playing on their phones. It's now 130 pm and he just went back to see the doctor. Maybe we should have turned around when I saw the HCA symbol. Lesson learned ... stick with SMH. This place should be shut down for lack of care!

I went there for the first time last night. I was a walk-in, and everyone, from the receptionist, to the nurse, and the nurse practitioner was superb!! They simply couldn't have been kinder, This is THE ONLY walk-in clinic I will go to from now on! God Bless, and Merry Christmas

YOU ARE BETTER OFF INVESTING INTO A COFFIN THAN SPENDING MONEY HERE! With their terrible service you will die before you get the help you need!!! I came in with strep throat because I get this 3 times a year every year. Every time I get strep it’s always strand C not the common A or B so usually they give me amoxicillin and the culture comes back positive. This time my insurance paid 300$$$ DOLLARS and I had to pay 50$ and I get no value for my money because the NURSE PRACTITIONER not even a doctor told me I had a upper respiratory infection when I know for a fact that it’s strep because it hurts to swallow. My parents are doctors and I have a masters in occupational therapy. Anywho they will miss diagnose you won’t give you the quality care you deserve. Not to mention they misdiagnosed me last time when I came in with a bug bite they told me you will be fine. That’s great so what did I pay 300$+ for? Worst service ever

I went to the Med Express North Port on a Sunday morning recently after having fallen the night before, hitting my head on a granite counter. I had a large laceration on my hairline.... 1" long and 1/2" wide. I learned later that the wound was open down to the bone. The injury happened Saturday night around 7 and I was being treated the next morning about 8:30. Dr. Li consulted with a colleague (who did not look at the wound) and was told it was too late for stitches or staples as normally they don't place stitches after 8 hours. Dr. Li cleaned the wound and placed one steri-strip in the center of the laceration. It immediately fell off because of the antibiotic. He re-placed it with another (it did not close the wound) and considered my treatment complete. I had a gaping hole in my head and it wasn't even not covered with a bandage! I left Med Express and my husband immediately took met to another clinic. They were appalled that a doctor would leave me with such a large, open wound susceptible to infection. This other facility numbed the wound, scratched the tissue to cause bleeding and placed 8 stitches. They agreed it was not normal to stitch after so many hours, but the laceration was so large and deep it required some type of closure. The stitches came out yesterday, and although there is a pretty big dip in my forehead, the hole has been closed. I have virtually no scar and now no risk of infection. I'm thankful for the physician who took the extra step to actually treat my problem. Very disappointed in Dr. Li and Med Express. This is supposed to be an urgent treatment facility!

The receptionist was quick & helpful, the Doctor spent time with me and explained everything, the cost was fair. U even received a follow up call the next day to see how I was feeling. I was very impressed!

Inaccurate evaluation- went in with a sinus infection and was told I had a stomach virus so I did up having to go to the hospital to get a proper diagnosis and medication as the medication they gave me did not solve my problems at all. So I had to pay $2k to go to a hospital in addition to wasting money at Medexpress.

This group is so organized, efficient and professional. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes complete with antibiotics for my sinus infection. Wonderful place. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone that needs urgent care.

I went it and paid my deductible and they said they accept my insurance, I still ended up paying $245 after the fact for a three minute visit with the doctor. I had a severe sore throat and was unable to speak, literally lost my voice. The doctor told me I had the flu but since it was over the time limit she couldn’t give me meds, but gave me three days off of work. I was able to get in with my PCP a few days later, same stuff going on, and diagnosed with laryngitis and strep throat! He was able to give me meds to at least help alleviate my symptoms! The Med Express dr didn’t even run any tests! Horrible place and they didn’t even try to bill my insurance!!!

Even though I have a general Praticitioner it is so much easier to get in here than having to wait for my doctor to get me in. I have never had to wait long to be seen and the staff is always friendly.
