What patients are saying...

Since Cleveland Clinic took over, patient care at every level is suffering. I went to StatCare for fasting bloodwork this morning and was number 24 in line at 8:03am. It was 8:34 before they called me to register, and then the registrar couldn’t find the orders my dr. had submitted. CC’s “process improvements “ are benefitting no one that I can see. Mixing lab patients in the same room as sick patients is uncalled for, at least at this location. Taking away the online registration is NOT an improvement for anyone (patients AND staff are still trying to figure it all out after SIX MONTHS). The lab used to open at 7, now it’s 8. For a hypoglycemic early riser this is a disaster waiting to happen. Then to be told the lab orders aren’t in MyChart when they were there last week is infuriating. Now I’ve got to waste time on hold, ask my dr to resubmit the orders, and figure out another day when I can get in & out without disrupting my work schedule. Come on CC. Get your act together.

Need to be able to schedule a time online for the stat care so we are not sitting in there in misery. They used to have this service but took it away. Miserable wait time

I went in for a really bad sore throat and needed help. I signed in and was asked to please go and wait outside in my car. I got a text that their were 12 people a head of me. No problem, but then I waited in my care for over three hours and no one called for me. Finally I got tired of waiting and just went home. They finally called me on my cell phone five hours later and said they could see me if I’m still waiting outside. Really, why didn’t they just tell me to go home and wait and say they would call me when they were ready?

The registration process is always the problem. I have been here twice in the last month. I thought the first time was just a quirk. However, they only have one person doing registrations. Wait time is usually 30 minutes to register, then 5-10 minutes to have your labs drawn and be discharged. The folks behind the desk sit and talk (yes, everyone in the lobby can hear you). They are friendly, but have no sense of urgency. Nor do they realize their waiting patients are fretting the exposure to others while waiting for a medically necessary procedure. In these days of covid, I don't want to sit and chat about the weather, holiday plans, etc. I don't want to be rude, but I want to get my 91 yr old Mother in and out of the germ exposure.
