Have had other visits here before where the doctors weren't very thorough, but had a great experience today with a provider who took time to explain what kinds of treatment I should ask for given my immunocompromised status. Front desk staff was also good.

Came in presenting with side effects from a new medication (sertraline). Racing heart, anxiety attacks, chest tightness, burning in my chest, arms, and neck. All I wanted was an EKG done and to speak to a doctor about what I should do as my PCP has become unavailable to me. The wait time was fine and the woman at the front desk was very nice. The nurse I was seen by was awful. She came into the room like she already didn’t want me to be there. When I told her what the reason for the visit it was she visibly huffed in my face and rolled her eyes. She then proceeded to exit the room and raise her voice at her coworkers and say “She said her Zoloft is giving her panic attacks,” like I’m crazy. Then continued to talk about how she’s done working and needs to take a break and that she can’t stand being there anymore. I was shocked because I was very polite, told her exactly why I was there, and what I wanted done. Just an EKG. Which is standard to get periodically while on some SSRIs, especially if I’m having severe symptoms. She huffed and puffed at the staff and I’m assuming the next nurse/doctor who came to see me next. She told me she didn’t see anything wrong with my vitals, which is fine! Great news! And that she would run an EKG anyway, although she acted like it was a burden and she didn’t want me there. In comes the first nurse to run the EKG. I don’t know where she got her license, but it needs to be revoked, since she couldn’t even run an EKG properly. I was bare chested, in this room, having the worst anxiety attacks of my life, crying, and this woman could not get the pads to stick to me. Then she couldn’t run the machine properly. Then the other woman had to come back in and help her. So I have two people who clearly think I’m overreacting and don’t want me to be there, sticking and unsticking these pads to my bare chest, constantly running and stopping then rerunning the EKG because they can’t get it right, all the while I’m laying there mortified and crying. Like? Are you serious? Then they finally get the machine to read properly and tell me that the results are fine. Perfect! Just what I wanted, and not very hard to do. Keep in mind this entire time nobody else is in the building. There were no patients ahead of me. It was not busy at all. I don’t care what these people have going on in their lives, they should not be treating their patients this way, especially when they are clearly upset and vulnerable. These people are meant to help us feel better. I paid to have them care for me, I only asked them to do one thing, and it was the end of the world for them. Parents: go get your kid’s flu shot somewhere else.

Doctor refused to help me with pain. It's so great that we're not allowed to have a few pills for actual pain and that one bad bad apple spoiled the whole bunch. Waking up four to five times a night due to pain and she said to try benadryl. Really?

Booking was easy and simple. Front office staff was nice and efficient. Dr. Ahmad Mehrabi did not reflect that though. He was not thorough at all, didn't seem willing to want to have a conversation about my symptoms or questions I had. Interrupted me multiple times when I was asking questions. Seems like he just wanted to write me a prescription and get me out the door. Frustrating to say the least. Didn't feel that well looked over or cared for. I would not recommend this provider at all.

Had to get a physical for my daughter. They made the process fast and easy. I walked in fill out paperwork and was called back within 10min. Would definitely recommend. Call before coming to prevent negative outburst. Not every urgent care does thing the same such as take insurance. So calling first would definitely help in any situation.
