Went in for an x ray of a toe that turned out to be severely broken. Had I not asked to see the x ray they would have sent me home with no additional care. Based on the radiology report that was completely inaccurate they were going to let it heal. I asked to see the x ray for my son because he loves all things medical and the NP was shocked and sent me immediately to the ER. This should not happen to anyone else. Please advocate for yourself at these places. To them you are just a number and just a paycheck. The NP was very attentive once she knew but why is it my job to have her review the x ray. I’m not a doctor!
